Remarks :
Some good aspects of graphic era include multiple cultural programmes and events that keep happening in the campus and make engineering fun. Bad aspects of this college could include more focus on traditional theory subjects instead of recent technologies. I got admission into this college via direct entry. To get admission at GEU a student needs to get atleast 70% aggregate in his 12th grade .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as being a CS student i was really interested in tech and wanted to make a career in it for myself. Most of our faculties members are PhD holders and hold an experience of more than 15 years in the field of teaching. Their teaching methods range from traditional pen paper to powerpoint presentations to make the students understand the topic. The mid terms were held in the month of October and end term are being held in December.The difficulty level of exam can be termed as moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internship yet. The internship opportunities are open to students in their last year of engineering and various companies visit the campus during that time to offer jobs to the students
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement include a good 8 gpa. Few recruiters are TCS, Vipro, Accenture ,Amazon ,Infosys etc.The highest package offered to a student is of 86 lakh rupees and avg package ranges from 5-6 lakhs.About 70 80 students get a placement after completion of their course. My plan after getting the degree is to opt for masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 323000 as the fee for my first year. The tution fee for one semester is around 1lakh 80 thousand and it can be further reduced by various scholarship. An annual payment of 33500 is made each year which includes transportation, exam and other compulsary charges. I received scholarships which included defence ward concession, girl child scholarship and an academic scholarship for my marks in grade 12th
Campus Life :
The life at campus is pretty good . The major fests conducted are Grafest held in the month of May and student Grafest held in the month of November. The libraries are usually well aided with all the books related to the courses. The classroom amenities include projector and blackboard. Mutiple sports events like president cup for football, leagues for cricket and badminton tournaments are organised by college. Famous clubs of GEU include NSS, Rangmanch, Swaragini,IEEE,Graphic Geeks etc
Hostel Facilities :
No i haven't opted for hostel . The quality of mess food ranges from mediocre to more than average. Menus include a mix of various indian dishes and snacks in the evening. Several PGs can be found around the campus in Subashnagar .

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
