My opinion on NIT PATNA

- The Nescafe in various places and their food
- The lushy green campus which puts more beauty to environment
- The placement stastics of college which gives boost and confidence
- The growing sports facilities and the handling
Dislikes
- The small area of campus which is only 35 acres
- There is only one ground in which all sports need to play according to time given
Remarks :
There is no factors you only have to score in JEE and according to your percentile you will sit in Josaa and csab counselling and will get a seat in the institute and no need to appear in the group discussion interviews and further written tests Good facts: campus is full of greenery Placement stastics is good enough The campus is situated on the banks of ganga river which gives a star to the campus and makes it beautiful Faculties are awesome help in all aspects of students life Sports facilities are good enough and students can play whichever sport they want to play and can take help from their seniors and coaches Bad aspects: The campus is small according to expectations it is in 35 acres but the new campus is also ready which is in 125 acres so now no regrets and all things are good
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose mechanical engineering so I will help deep in this branch I am very much interested in this branch so chose it and want to learn more about the vehicles and their designing so make a decision to go further in this line the faculties in the branch are well educated they have done the PhD degree from very good institutes like NIT and IIT s their teaching methods helps students in better understanding they relate the topics with real life and make sure that every student learn the full topic they give practical assignment also to perform and themself check and verify it for every student going further on term exams there is mid term exams on the mid of semester and end term on the end of the session and further there is class tests in every semester
Internships Opportunities :
No we will apply for internship in 3rd year and college calls company and students apply if they get selected then they go and companies also offer stipend to them with accommodation and perform and learn skills in better way
Placement Experience :
The placement in NIT PATNA specially is better than any other NITs average package of civil engineering this year lies in 7 to 8 lakhs per annum for mechanical there is 8 to 9 and for electrical and electronics branches it lies between 11 to 12 lakhs and for cse and it branch it's in 14 to 15 lakhs Highest package offered is 48 lpa to cse student and in mechanical branch highest is 18 lpa offered by phonepe
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
See the fee structure depends on the family annual income and vary person to person so if your family income is more than 5 lakh per annum then it will be 1 lakh plus with hostel if you are in my categy that is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then ur tuition fees will be 23k plus hostel that is 40k and if you are in less than 1 lakh category then you have to only submit the hostel fees with mess that is 40k.
Campus Life :
The campus life of good enough there are basically two fests conducted per year known as eccentrica which is conducted in October November and there is TCF technocultural fest conducted in February there are all types of books present in the library including academic,sports related ,comics, newspapers and students can learn in the library from 9 am to 9 pm in working days weekend days library is closed all types of sports we can play in NIT PATNA we have to issue the equipment from the centre and we can play there is also trails conducted for inter NIT sports meet and also for local sports meet that is in IIT PATNA and AIIMS PATNA there are various clubs and groups that GYB (Get your book ) which helps in social drives then there is SUPRA which make electronic cars then there is saptak for music intrested students there is PI introduced to every club in his presence all the tasks operated and positions from president to member all are given to students only.

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage.
