- Vibrant atmosphere fulled with students of all backgrounds.
- Since there is no reservation quota all students share a similar mindset and goals.
Dislikes
- Sometimes professors and faculty can be a bit harsh to students but that's not a regular issue
- College is located in the outskirts which results in commuting being a problem
Remarks :
It's a well reputed college and a tier 1 college. Good alumini network helps you to excel in new paths.0 percent attendance policy let's you focus on side skills. Cons are that the hostel lacks a good wifi network and it is in a remote location so getting around is not cheap. Airport is approx 75km from the campus making it a long journey.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It has a vast and diverse application and with the practice school system of bits you can enter into placements of well known it and finance companies also. You can also enter into the consulting firms as it provides an excellent consulting curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are fantastic about this college. Microsoft and amazon and other big recruiters often provide internships for students studying in their college years and from the first year itself.
Placement Experience :
Placements require you to complete your be degree and sit for placements. Highest package offered was about 60.45 lakh and average goes upto 15 lpa across all branches. Median package goes upto 12-13 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is approx 55k Mess charges are 12k Hostel is another 30k Lab fees is about 4k No management quota or reservation quota for that matter. Merit and merit cum need scholarships are available in the college
Campus Life :
Vibrant social life filled with students of all backgrounds. Very big library filled with ample books of all sorts. Nearly all types of clubs are run by students and that's the best part about this college. There are all sorts of clubs which cater to different skills students have. We have a hockey ground, swimming pool, tennis court badminton court and a cricket and football ground.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is good in terms of mess standards. Hostels are well equipped and clean when compared to other colleges and the registration for hosts begins after you take admission and report during the counselling rounds.

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
