- I enjoy campus life as we celebrate many festivals and fest and even faculties are also good so basically get many opportunity to learn
- College infrastructure is also good as it is a fully student-run campus so all the demands and complaints are resolved very quickly.
Dislikes
- Because of the location, many a time we face the problem of transportation as connectivity is an issue in Kashipur
- The weather is also falls in extremes, like here we face extreme humidity and rainfall and in that season insects is an issue
Remarks :
Overall campus life in this college is quite good because this journey gives the experience not only of academics but also provides live projects and events which is the best opportunity to apply knowledge practically in life. To get admission in this college, one should get a good percentile in CAT, then one will get PI call, and based on the composite score, one will get admission. Prepartion for PI is crucial and for this you should work on communication skills and knowledge about your background.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is designed to balance the theoritical and practical knowledge, as in MBAA in first year, the courses that are offers aims to build a strong foundation of various subjects of management like marketing, analytics, finance etc and in second year we choose electives based on our interests.faculties are highly qualified and hold good PhD from renowned universities, and have good experience as well.
Internships Opportunities :
We have a compulsory 2 month summer internship program that need to be done after our first year and for this also companies comes to our college and offer internship in various roles like in the feild of finance, sales, consulting etc and if perform well in that so one can get PPO as well from that company .
Placement Experience :
Our campus has a record of 100 percent placement and more than 200 companies comes for the placement which offer variety of role in the field of finance, sales, marketing etc. It depend on the company to company that recruiters visit online or offline. The average placement is around 18 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees structure includes tuition fees, books and stationery, and hostel fees with a total of around ruppes 90000, and mess fees are excluded from this, as is a caution money of 9000 per year. The institute gives various types of scholarships, like need-based and merit-based scholarships, for outstanding academic performances
Campus Life :
Campus life in IIM kashipur is really very good, the annual fest called Agnitraya held in the month of January is really amazing, and not only that, all the festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. Here we have 40+ clubs, committees, and cells, and a proper infrastructure as well. Classroom has good amenities, and a decent library is also there, where many books and journals are available.
Hostel Facilities :
It is compulsory to live in campus and that fees is involved in our fees only but mess fees is excluded; this is calculated on daily basis semester wise, but mess food is good as we get proper 4-time meals and that 7 day menu changes monthly. Hostel rooms are allocated randomly and in first year we get double seater but in second year we get single occupancy rooms.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
