Remarks :
I gave cuet exam to get get addmission in Delhi University and the exam marks will come and then students made prefrence list and then through delhi university software allot the college by considering score and preference list of student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The shyam lal college of Delhi University offer various courses, it also offer language courses too. The faculty of the college is good I mean some teachers are too good and some are just doing there formalities it's all upto your luck that which teacher you got.
Internships Opportunities :
No, till now I did not apply for any internship but college provide details about internship some times teachers also tell you about any internship if it is good for your overall development and senior also.
Placement Experience :
The placement of shyam lal college is decent. There is placement cell in the college which is mostly run by students and children. The placement is totally depend on student performance, skills. Good student can go to any college of Delhi University and have the best placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of shyam lal college( delhi university) is vary from courses to courses as some cources fees is less and some cources fees is more. I tell you bout my course b.com is 14000 for a year which is normal.
Campus Life :
There is a campus life but not good as the colleges of North campus. There are approximately 30 societies in college which you can join and develop yourself. Societies also provide various opportunities.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel of college. Students who come from different states take flats or PG and I think this is drawback that there should be hostel of college as it is good for students who come from different states can take hostel rooms and did not waste there energy in finding PG or flats.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
