Factors and good aspects of college good placement than any other college avg package was around 20 lakh my time college based in NIT Bhopal campus semi- Government college Bad aspect - no campus of its own , although area is allotted for construction, and expect a campus in future Hostel only in first year, not all 4 years. no female quota. Gender ratio worse. Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum is up to date and designed to full fill the needs of IT industry .. from first year you are introduced to coding and Web development skills, College is strict regarding academics with conducting Exams whenever after desired portion of syllabus is complete . There MINI , MID AND END Semester exams. Faculties are Highly qualified and hold a degree from renowned college and everyone is PHD holder. Faculties are good at teaching and practical's are held whenever needed I wanted to pursue software Field that is the reason i choose (IT) course Mini exam out of 10 marks are held after a month when a semester starts mid exam out of 20 are held in mid of the semester end exam out 60 marks are held at the end of semester
Internships Opportunities :
no. as i am in first year .not got a chance although my friends got internship , and will get a chance in summer and winter breaks they shared there internship on linkedin although they already prepared coding and everthing rquired for internship
Placement Experience :
Placements are excellent of 14.7 lakhs of CSE , if no placement in campus will apply for off campus to be eligible for placement you need 8.5 or more CGPA recently PayPal , service now and amazon visited and recruited students. highest package offered was 34.4 LPA to 4 students by PayPal for SDE post average is around 14.7 lakhs total 81 students are placed 60% placement the data is little disappointing due to recession and every college has faced setback this will improve quickly , data before recession is average 20.4 LPA package and 100% placement. after getting degree go for placements and corporate job..
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition Fees - 2,16,000 Miscellaneous Fees(which includes exam, welfare fund, registration, placement, medical aid fees)-15,480 Development fee - 14,400 Maintenance Fees - 12000 Refundable(After 4 Years)-12000 Hostel Fees - (82,400) for 10 months Mess Fees - (41,000) for 10 months Total Fees (First year including hostel and mess) - 3,93,280 First year students need to pay full year fees in advance from 2nd year semester wise . second year you have to opt for hostel nearby My case - sharing flat with 6 roommates (assuming flat rent of 3BHK 20,000 ) per person 3500 *12 = 42000 and considering mess cost same 41000 (although it would be much less than first year mess fee.) therefore total cost - 83000 2nd,3rd,4th year College fee - 2,51,040 per year and accommodation- 83,000 per year each year (total cost) - 3,34,040 increase in fee will be updated for new comers although a fee structured would be shared in advance and will be accordingly
Campus Life :
Campus Life is Good , we share NIT Bhopal campus of 650 acres, every facility is provided and is inside the campus. with cafe and sports complex and library etc. There are lot of clubs in IIIT Bhopal are some - CODAME club for coding and hackathon - inspire club for spirituality - ARUNODAY club for social welfare -AARZOO club for cultural activities dance, drama and music you can check on IIIT Bhopal 's website for detailed information Every book and journal is available in library a , the class good amount of space for large amount of students and has whiteboard and projector with campus WIFI , classroom can be improved though. each year Sport-lumina is held ; it is inter IIIT Competition(compete all over the India in each popular sports) there is every facilities available for sports , there are guest talks , some extracurricular activity is going on a corner of campus You can participate in whichever club which interests you.
Hostel Facilities :
first year students it is compulsory to opt for hostel, hostel mess attached with the hostel and provides breakfast , lunch , supper and dinner for the hostellers my hostel is inside BHEL campus full of greenery and playgrounds , cricket and football ground nearby , hostels are newly renovated for the hostellers so infrastructure is good guards and warden are present for any immediate need. hostel room will allotted by the institute when you take admission food quality as usual is moderate , menu is designed to fulfill body nutrition requirements and is balanced ,, whole menu is available on college website to check out registration for hostel is done alongside admission process and hostel is affordable locality is good, situated there is big market with all the branded shops and hospitals nearby , AIIMS Bhopal also nearby

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
