- I liked the faculty behaviour, the way they interacts and their always availability for the student guidance
- One of the main thing from the MSI that i liked was its placement , extracurricular activities and the multiple sessions conducted for the student future guidance.
Dislikes
- I was very disappointed with the infrastructure of the college and the strictness for the attendance
Remarks :
There are the various factors which I keep in mind while choosing the college . First of the main thing that is On-Campus Placement on behalf of which maharaja surajmal ranks 1st. Then when i shifted to verify the second factor that is the Infrastructure of the college i got to know that the other college VIPS is much better in terms of infrastructure but the reason i did not selected that college is first of all the placement of VIPS is lower than the MSI and VIPS was very far from my home whereas the MSI was near my home. Other then this I checked for the Campus life and Student life by check the social media to ensure whether the college both study and other curricular activities or not. I had only given the IPUCET exam for my admission other than this i haven't given any test or exam for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course Curriculum is up to dated , it consists of the all the topics which are currently on demand in the Industry like Data Science, AI , ML , Digital Marketing, and many other subjects. Talking about the academics the college is very strict in terms of academics and maintains their result very strictly. College isn't about the academics also about other curricular activities and faculties understands that very well. Faculties are very supportive and always ready to provide the guidance . All faculties have either done PHD or are pursuing PHD and every faculty knows very well about their subject. The exams held twice in the semester one is internal and another is external both contains theory and practical exams . The level of exams in the college are moderate , a student can easily score if they are sincere and very good logical mindset.
Internships Opportunities :
I have applied for a company but didn't get selected for the internship, But the college provides many opportunities for the internship which are very helpful for gaining the industry experience and work on the real time based projects
Placement Experience :
Placement and job opportunities are very nice the students with the legit skills can crack the companies and get the high packages , in my batch i have seen two students that gets 24lpa package due to their skills and both were placed on campus. Eligibility of the placement is the 7 cgpa . Few companies that have recently visited the college: Deshaw: 24LPA Accenture: 3.4 LPA SAP : 3 LPA OYO: 4LPA JTP: 24 LPA and etc I am currently planning for the MCA after graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee Structure for my batch was : First year - Rs 126000 which includes the tuition fee, admission fees and the university fees. Second year - Rs 117500 which includes the tuition fees, university fees and the student activity fees with insurance. Third year - Rs 113750 which includes the tuition fees , university fees and the placement fees. The fees is same for all the categories , however college helps the reserved categories to pay the fee by providing the govt scholarship service , the amount of the scholar ship received is enough to cover a portion of the tuition fees. The course fees my increase due to several factors like maintenance , inflation rate and according to the services provided by the college.
Campus Life :
College conducts 1 fest in a year which includes multiple events and the fest longs upto 3 days ending with the main fest Genesis. In the fest time 1st day is generally for the Technical fest and 2nd day is for the ENVA fest organized by the NSS societies of the college. and the last day can be referred as the Main fest day GENESIS ends with the fan concert. MSI book bank is full of the varieties of books you can get the books in the start of the semester , note that the sometimes the books condition are very bad so try to avoid issuing those types of books. MSI conducts sports day in the middle of the year and the college also participates in the university sports meet which is conducted every year. Other than the sports the college have multiple societies and every student must be a member of the society , our college has 22 societies each focusing on unique factors of society .

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
