I am from Uttarakhand so I chose to complete my graduation from same state. Yes first I applied for the course online and then I was asked to come and take a look of the college. An interview was taken before admission by the HOD of the the course
I was a commerce student so I chose to opt for bcom. The faculty was highly qualified and to be precise they teach like they have very good experience in the related subject. They were not rude and talked with students in a friendly way.
I didn't opted for internship. I was working with my uncle's organisation from where I got my experience certificate. Many MNCs were there like amazon, flipkart, PnG, swiggy, Zomato. The average stipend offered was around 2-4k per month.
Every year before the end of last term campus placements take place and many MNCs and startups come to hire the students. Placement percentage was 93%. The average package was around 6-7LPA and highest package for bcom was 20 LPA.
Actually I don't know the breakdown of the fee structure but first we have to apply for the course online then we get a call from the college. The average fee for one year was around 6k and total tuition fee was 20k for 3 years course.
The infrastructure of the college was basic but the one who want to study can study anywhere and the college was good for study. Regular manfests and bachelor's party were organised for every batch which gets passed out.
I was living in a rented room there nearby my college but campus hostel was also available with all the facilities like 24 hours electricity and water, AC non AC rooms. Different hostels for girls and boys.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
