- The faculty is the greatest thing as they are almost like a family they look after the students in any way they can.
- The sports room helped us create good memories and have fun.
Dislikes
- The campus could've been more good if they had more space.
- The canteen needs improvement in terms of sitting area and food choices.
Remarks :
Well I only needed my IPU-CET rank to get the admission in this college. In the college there was nothing that made it look like college, it was more like a school although after I graduated this year the college has improved alot. The faculty has been very nice and supportive throughout my bachelor's and I think they are part of the reason why it was fun studying in that college. The campus of this college isn't good but once you find the places to eat or have fun around it you'll have no issues at all. Overall I had my share of fun in that college if I have one advice that would be just always go to the gurudwara beside the college before your exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I chose this course was because of my own interest in coding and I want to increase my coding skills. As for the faculty they were helpful and supportive, also they are highly qualified as teachers in their own specific subjects they handle and every teacher has their own way of teaching. Lastly the exams weren't that hard if you paid attention to the classes most of the questions are from the classes and notes you'll be given by the teachers so pay attention to that.
Internships Opportunities :
So for internships many different companies would conduct a test and based on your scores you'll be given the opportunity. I have opted for an Full stack internship and it was paid but I was the one who had to pay some amount but anyhow almost everyone had to pay during that internship we learned everything online but at some point teachers stopped bothering to teach students and just did their work. And at the end of the internship all we got was a project completion certificate and acknowledgement certificate. Can't say it's same for everyone but you might get a better opportunity if you have good marks in the internship qualification tests.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities is good but not best you know you'll have to be attentive and try to pay attention to every group message that you'll receive in the group so make sure you don't miss anything and give every interview because being overconfident may make you lose the opportunity.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The SC/ST categories got their tuition fees back which was about ?67,900 after applying for a refund which can be applied after one year. I think it's beneficial for them only but if you have "Ration Card" and you are of General category you'll still be able to get a refund.
Campus Life :
So the campus isn't that big but we had our share of fun in the sports room and it isn't thata big as it sounds there's just a table tennis table, pool table and other sports equipments. The ground isn't that big to call it a ground it's more like a parking spot for 5-6 cars. The conducted seminars in seminar hall and kept us locked in the college so we had to attend every seminar no matter how interested or boring it was.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel or any other facilities that the college provide you'll have to find a PG nearby and I can recommend a PG which is just behind the Gurudwara it's good but you'll have to prepare your own food.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
