The affordability is one of the prime factors that made me choose this college, I'm taking a bachelor's degree with having a plan of persuing a Master's degree later in future so investing too much on a bachelor's degree wasn't really in my plan. My college provides the services provided by any other colleges but with a good feeling structure.
I , personally am leaning towards the IT field hence I chose Computer Science Engineering. The faculty is adequate although some teachers might be inexperienced or might not have the required knowledge but they go above and beyond to solve your queries.
I haven't yet opted for an internship as the internship opportunities can be taken only in last year of the degree, I'm currently studying in the third year But as far as I know the hostel fees are a lot and the hostel is quite strict
The placements and job opportunities have increased recently as of only last year, as our college got recognised as autonomous due to getting an A+ in the NAAC event Due to the recent autonomous nature of our college more and more companies are reaching out for placement
The total fees, if you're going through a management quota is 72,000 , if you decide to take the transport facility then the fee can range depending upon the distance between the college and your area. Personally my transport facility takes upto 16,000 yearly so my total fees sun upto 88,000. If you're taking addmission with some sort of scholarship then the fees can range from 10,000 to 20,000 based on your percentage and category
We have our annual gathering at the start of the year mostly in January or February the gathering mostly takes place in the 2nd semester of each academic year we have a technical fest in the middle of the year where students from colleges all over the city can participate in. We have annual sports day along with the traditional day and bollywood day. The library has a wide range of books and even our e-library is a good addition. There are various cultural clubs, I myself am a part of the Literature club. We've written and acted out some plays here and there, the only drawback is that you have to stay extra hours to take part in the clubs and there's not much transport facility provided to us.
I haven't taken hostel or mess as I'm a local and do up-down from my house to the college. But as I did ended up having mess food here and there, it's quite good. The quality and quantity are fulfilling
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
