First of all I had to give MHT-B.DES-CET to get addmission in this college. Exam was quite moderate and i score 145/200 marks with all Maharashtra 5th rank. I visited college campus before confirming my admission, i was allowed to talk to faculty during their college hours and experience the college normal working day as a student by visiting the classes and also visiting workshop.
Most of the faculties here are industrial experts in their field and are IIT,NID and other top design college's pass outs with 15-40 years of industrial experience which reflects while working on throughout the projects that are mentored by the faculties. I choosed this college as it has a technology driven design thinking process and curriculum.
No. But soon I'll opt for the internship too. As a second year student i would like to do intership in graphic design as I have to use the skills and softwares I have learnt in last 1 year. I'll probably work as a part time work from home .
Placements are not given by the college as a design student we have to search for the internship/job and apply by our own. But yeah college do support and motivates students to do part and full time internships to. After completing 3rd year it's mandatory for all the students to do 2months intership after which after the 7th sem we are allowed to do 6 months internship too.
1,20,000 Tution fees 3000 exam fees(per sem) 20,000 university fees Scholarship for General category - 62470 scholarships for other caste and categories are also available students can avail those scholarships accordingly.
For the events part you may get to experience very few events happening in the campus throughout the year, which includes NAKSHATRA cultural event which usually happens in January end to February mid. Library is quite good place for self study and spacious room for better aura. Sports amenities are still a big question in this college cause they do not have a seperate ground maintained for sports activities. That's the negative part of the college.
The school does not provide any hostel for boys, for girls they do have hostel around 50 meters from the college that's exactly in opposite side of the college entrance raod. I had to stay at a private hostel named as Dhyanwardhini Boys hostel. It as quite good place with all the required faculties like cupboard, bed, chair and table, shelf, RO, 24hrs hot water.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
