Honest review of UOH for a student who want to pursue any course from UOH.
Likes
- Some of the building inside the campus are really good, well mentioned. Campus life of the UOH is also very good.
- As I said UOH is spread in almost 2300 acres of last, so students can Rome inside the campus only where we can visit different places some of the famous places to visit inside the campus are peacock lake, mushroom rock, etc.
Dislikes
- These days there were so much of deforestation taking place inside the campus which was not good.
- Second thing is mess food are not good and there were not actually taking any serious action for that.
Remarks :
For getting admission in UOH for BTECH plus MTECH degree we have to pass JEE MAINS Exam and then for admission ee have to fill the option of UOH during Josaa councelling and based on your priority of college and percentile you scored in jee you will get the college. Uoh is good when we talk about greenery, professors, courses offered, research and all. When we talk about placement there is not that much opportunity for freshers as Uoh is mainly for research.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I got this college as I filled this option in jossa councelling, and I like to take admission in uoh as the professors are really good and the courses offered are also very good compared to other colleges. In a semester there is one end sem exam which are usually happend at the end of the semester, and middle of the semester there are minor exams which was conducted by there respective professors. Usually in all courses there where 3 minors conducted 20 marks each out of which best of two was taken and the end sem was of 60 marks for each course.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah you can do research intern under professors if you will meet respective professor eligibility criteria. Other than that you can apply for different types of intern opportunities which was offered by different types of companies which has collaboration with the college.
Placement Experience :
Placements are average for my course, some of the companies which are visiting for placements are Marvell, Intel, GE. Average package for intern is around 6lpa and for full time around 18lpa. Highest package which was offered last year is around 24lpa for Mtech course student. My plan after getting the degree is mostly working in the IT sector.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have to pay total of approx 52000 per year as a tution fee along with that I have to pay for mess bill which is different for different students based on how many days you eat in mess. But for all students we have to pay a minimum bill per month for mess which is approach 1600-1800 per month, except this we don't have to anything else. In the tution fee only the hostel fee, medical and all are included. For my batch mates they also have to pay same amount but they can avail scholarship based on there category like OBC, SC, ST and all.
Campus Life :
Uoh campus is spread in more than 2300 acrese of land where many types of habitats are there some of them which are very common are peacock, deers, etc. Inside campus there where two main library one in north and one in south in which the north one which is named as IGM one of the biggest library which has more than 1000 books. When we talk about sports there where almost all types of sports which was played inside the campus like volleyball, badminton, cricket, shooting range, etc. In my course there is not any such clubs but yeah there where different types of clubs was there like JSC, Nobelium, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have opted a hostel. I am staying in the south campus hostel L, when you will enroll for any course let's talk about any ug course you will automatically get allocated with hostel room if you are not a local resident and during the time of admission you have to physically present and have to done the onboard. Mess food are average frankly speaking not that good.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
