Remarks :
The pros of this university include active students' organizations, helping culture (everyone will help you if you ask for it), space for progressive ideas, people are not judgmental, the library is well equiped and open 24x7 and free bus service around the entire campus. The cons are mediocre faculty, low placements, academic structure is exam oriented only ( whatever you learn, it's only for exam) you don't get the time to learn anything extra, frequent exams (there'll be an exam every month). To get admission in University of Hyderabad you have to write CUETPG exam. Cut off is often high, around 180.
Course Curriculum Overview :
First of all it's an 'Institute of Eminence' with A+ rating, and it's considered one of the best in the country. The faculties are good and well qualified. Some departments like Political science and Sociology are excellent but the School of Economics is mediocre at best. Most of the professors struggle with teaching, some just share notes and PDFs. I feel cheated by all those fancy credit and ratings.
Internships Opportunities :
The internships are done in the last/ 2nd year of the course. While finding internships, you're on your own, you won't find any help from the university. The minimum duration of the internships should be 68 hours.
Placement Experience :
The placements are pathetic in this university. The placement cell itself is a completely independent students initiative, there is no role of the university. Out of 130 students, hardly 20 people will get placed. The recruiters are local startups and small companies. The average package would be around 3 to 4 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for 1st and 3rd semesters is ?7500 and for 2nd and 4th sem it's ?2400. So the total fees per year is about ?10,000. On top of it you have to pay mess and hostel fees on monthly basis. Mess fees is around ?4000 p.m. and the hostel fee is ?500 p.m. ( No fees for SCs and STs)
Campus Life :
There are several clubs one can join. There will be a some kind of event in the campus every week organized by different departments and student organizations. Events like film festivals, different workshops, talks, sport events, etc are always happening. The library is well equipped with every book you'll ever need. You'll also get access to newspapers, research papers, computers and wifi inside the library. Library is the best part of the university.
Hostel Facilities :
To apply for the hostels, just click on the hostel option while applying for the course online. One room is given for two students. You get a wardrobe, a table and a chair and a bed. Hostels are equipped with coolers and wifi. Mess food is not good (literally inedible).

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
