Likes
- I just love how well maintained the campus is there's ensured cleanliness there. And faculty are the best learned people in psychiatry and in social works and psychology.
- The people here are too good and cooperative. From guard ji, sister ji to the higher authorities all are very approachable.
Dislikes
- The hostel warden. We have to beg it to her that please get our gyser repaired please look into the water facility and she takes 4-5 working days to convey this.
- There's no vehicle provided to us from the institute and as the hostel is 1.5 km away from the hospital we have to walk a lot everyday.
Remarks :
We have to appear in an entrance test and then in an interview. I prepared the whole syllabus of UGC Net Social works and for interview I just read a few research papers and polished what I've prepared in my dissertation.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to work as a mental health professional and this degree was my dream. The course has all the aspects each and everything is included in it. Apart from that we have academics, case confrence, seminar and journal club in which we are expected to participate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes before my mphil I did an internship in CIP and in that also we were provided with the roaster for each and every ward every week and with that we are provided maximum exposure for every ward and we were asked to observe and present reports of our observations.
Placement Experience :
We are not provided placements as such but there's a surity that we'll get into some place after course completion. From PhD to projects to csr everyone looks out for a CIP scholar and my seniors have been selected in various projects and works.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We really don't have to pay any amount of money for the course instead we recieve stipend of 25000 every month and this is a subsidised course by government of India so we only have to pay 700 at the time of registration.
Campus Life :
Campus is wonderful 109 year of history surrounded by thousands of trees and birds. We actually see parrots flying in the campus and the whole 200 acres belong to the patients. They can move freely anywhere and we as a therapist feel so nice because we can sit in the garden and take therapy sessions. The library is the best one it has so many books and journals and printing room is the backbone for sure. We don't need to write on the paper for books, we can just simply use electric machine to borrow and return the books. Library has it all for group studies and for anything.
Hostel Facilities :
Single seater room is provided to use with the cost of 470rs per month which is deducted from our stipend only. Apart from that the hostel has an attached balcony. We can play badminton, there's a lawn for parties. Mess food is too good we can get whatever we want to. Government of India is maintaining this place so wel.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
