- I like the location and aesthetics of the college which is located at the heart of the city, every major places or attraction is just a minute away from college.
- I like the faculty mostly the old faculty of my branch who teaches in their 60s and 70s.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of college is very old and outdated and there is not empel space for students it's always feel like crowded in the campus.
- The campus life of this college is nothing but a joke you just have to do assignments, maintain your attendance and study for tests.
Remarks :
During the counselling process I have done my research on many colleges but I choose it because of its reputation and big alumini network as it is one of the biggest or we can say prosperous college of Madhya Pradesh. The admission process of this college is quite simple you just have to fill the choice filling and if this college is allotted to you then just verify your documents and you got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good as a student of civil engineering and applied mechanics department I can say that the level of teaching or the qualification of teachers is top notch the minimum criteria even for a lab technician is Masters in particular subject. And the level of exams are also good. Our curriculum includes 2 mid semester tests and a end semester test then practical exams.
Internships Opportunities :
My college also provides internship for a students in their 4th semester in respective companies according to their branch or someone can opt internship by self also. The period of internship which is provided by college is mostly around 1 to 2 month and some students get paid internship and mostly are not it is solely depand upon there academic record and reputation in front of teachers.
Placement Experience :
A lot of company companies visits every year which give job opportunities to most students who are eligible they sets criteria like zero back and 7 to 8 CGPA minimum. The median package is around 6 to 8 lacs as they not count the students in calculation of it who are not eligible, around 60-70% of students are placed on campus and it is widely depends on someone's branch and the rest of students are either try for government job, GATE exam or MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of first year is 149600 which includes miscellaneous fees of 20000 University fees of 275 and exam fees of 3750 it also includes the one time fee like development fees of thousand, prospect fees, form and certificate fees, caution money of 5000 which is refundable but at the point of admission we have to submit. After Second Sem the fees is reduced by 5 to 6 thousands as the one time fees are not included in it and it continuous till last sem
Campus Life :
Here the campus life is decent there is nothing like we see in movies. It is the everyday hustle which starts at 9 a.m. and ends till evening 5:00 p.m. but the social life of students are good which is due to some good chunk of minds or we can say the students behind all these clubs and fests who organisation maintenance all this clubs and fests. There is an fest named as Aayam which held in the month of February every year. The sports and extra curricular activities in the campus is not seen much as most of the students are busy in completing there assignments and attendance. But the library section is good, as i can remember the library of my college holds the largest number of books compared to any college of Madhya Pradesh. But there is not sufficient space for students in exam time it is always full.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilities here are quite decent the rooms are not like furnished as they are very old like 30 40 years. The food of mess is just average you can just eat it for your stomach but not for your tongue the menu is repeated many times and a week but the best part is affordability as the hostel and mess both combine charges around 29000 per semester. But there are limited seats in the hostel and most of the students stays outside campus in private hostels and PG.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
