Remarks :
At the time, MSI was considered the best college for bca, mainly due to the placements the college offered, I ranked 357 making me eligible to get the admission in this college, however the ranking went upto 1500-1600 for admission during spot rounds
Course Curriculum Overview :
As a science student wanting to study computers due to the tech based job demands, I had 3 options, btech, bca and bsc. Btech was obviously the best option, but the vast syllabus made me shy away as I only wished to study about computers and develop tech skills which was possible in bca and bsc both, but bca was more application based which is why I chose bca. The college provides well qualified faculty, studies are not compromised in this college, however there is less room for extracurricular activities, exams are held timely, Covid hindered the schedule but everything is back on track now.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are present, I believe MSI provides good opportunities for each course, comparatively better than other colleges, although the competition is high, companies frequently run placement drives.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is approx 3lakhs for the whole course, 1.1 lakh every year. The security deposit is 10,000 at the time of admission. Management students who are not selected on merit have to pay extra (4-5 lakhs extra for bca). Certain quotas like EWS may need to pay less fees.
Campus Life :
Campus Life might be a downside of this college as the college does not support cultural activities that much. Societies and clubs are present but mostly dormant. Books and libraries, study related things are all well structured though. As for the classrooms, ACs are not present in most classes, it gets really hard to sit in the boiling classes during Summers. College ground is big, official sports or tournaments are not often but does occur now and then.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
