- Clean environment which promotes student to study .
- Good campus life makes living far from home bare able for hostellers .
Dislikes
- Irregular exam timings disrupts students timetable.
- Mess food at hostels is not up to the mark.
Remarks :
No there is no entrance exam for this university, you should have scored 75%+ in 12th boards and should have given JEE Mains to take admission. High student intake spoils the college environment, rest a student should know who to spend their time at college with.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Artificial intelligence is in boom , so I choose this for better job opportunities my the future in computer science. Exam timings are very irregular, they take exams randomly in between months no proper exam pattern is followed.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not yet opted for any internship , I would like to venture further into this field in the future as I grow my knowledge at chikara , I would like to learn as much during the college and internship that it helps in future jobs.
Placement Experience :
Chitkara provides great placement opportunities to the students of all branches . Highest package that a student got was 1.1crpa in 2023 by Amazon . Average Cse packages range from 8-12 lpa , depending on students .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fee for BE CSe is 3lakh , 1.5 for each semester. No scholarships are provided . CAS of 20 thousand is taken , included in the fees . Other branches have nearly the same fee structure , rest I'm not sure about.
Campus Life :
Best campus life , Rangrez was conducted in November for 2 days, it was a memorable event , enjoyed all of it . All necessary books are available at the library . All kind of sports are available, basketball , volleyball, swimming etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Bad quality mess food . It's not really affordable for most , 1.4 lakh per year fees seems very high for the hostel facility that too non ac , with ac it's way more. 4seater attached washroom cooler room.

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
