Remarks :
The first factor which made me choose GITAM is that is in the same city where i live. I got to know about it through my seniors plus the online campaigns the college had started. For thw admission process you have to first apply for the GITAM APTITUDE TEST(GAT) by paying 1200(my case..may increase or decrease) and it is non refundable. Then you have to come for the test it is for 200 marks and there are score brackets to get scholarships on the basis of your score. Generally most of the people attempting the test are given the scholarship even if it is 15%. And after the test you are taken for an interview with faculty. After completion of the interview you are send for documents verification and if all is okay you are sent the payment link to pay the fees. After payment you are now a student in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had an interest in management since childhood therefore to gain deeper insights in the field i choose BBA. The faculty here in GITAM are very qualified most of them have their PHD's and they have more than 15 to 20 years of teaching experience. The syllabus was running on time. The dates of the exams were also set in a way so that the students get ample of time to prepare for the subject and the starting time for the exams were also good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year fees is 259000 2nd year fees is 268000 3rd year fees is 275000 You can get a scholarship aswell on the basis of Gitam Aptitude Test. There is a score range and the scholarship varies from 15%;25%;45%;60%;75%;80%;100% This will completely depend on the scores you get in the GAT exam. There is a need based scholarship aswell if your parents combined annual income is less than 12LPA.
Campus Life :
There are multiple fest conducted throughout the year. One of the major fests of GITAM is SHORE which is conducted annually in the month of jan(1st week) Then there is Gitam excellence meet(GEM) conducted by the gitam school of business.
Hostel Facilities :
I've been to the mess. The food quality is top notch and the quantity is unlimited and most of the colleges dont provide mess food on sundays but here the mess is open everyday. There is strictness in the mess. No outsiders are allowed to get in and the menu are not repetitive they offer a lot of variety for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
