The good aspects of SIT are diverse academic programmes, infrastructure, extra curricular opportunities, industry connections, supportive faculty, campus environment. Bad aspects of SIT are placement, opportunities,fee structure, student reviews, hostel and transportation. Admission process and criteria are based on admission modes like KCET,COMEDK UGET, management quota. Eligibility criteria are minimum of 45% marks in PCM 40% for SC/ST/OBC) in 12th grade or equivalent. Entrance test score for merit based admission. cut-off(approximate for CSE) KCET ranks upto 50,000 to 60,000 for general category.COMEDK RANKS UP TO 20,000 TO 25,000. I prepared for entrance exam by focusing on NCERT PCM syllabus of class 11 and 12 is crucial. Practice mock test regular mock test to get familiar with the exam pattern and improve time management. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
