- faculties because most of them are very friendly.
- The climate and aesthetic view from this college. we are located in a hill so we have a astonishing view point near us
Dislikes
- Temple inside in our college. Our management is very religious so they built a temple inside the campus worth multiple crores even the infrastructure of the college is not good.
- infrastructure. Very old design without anything new
Remarks :
The main thing was I was searching for aeronautical and I am from Kerala so Mangalore is very near for us and SIT is the best college for aeronautical in Mangalore. I took the admission through the management quota. most of the students are through the CET exam. As a Keralite, I wasn't informed about CET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I like aviation. Most of the faculties are M.tech holders and HODs are very experienced. This college is under VTU so we have 2 internal within a second, no other exams. 1st year Is a common sub for every stream. Like every other private college here we have so many unwanted and overrated fees like 10k for skill lab (extra skill certification in c programming), 30k fine for not attending any competitive exams, etc..
Internships Opportunities :
AICTE internships are there for everyone. As a first year we don't have that many only virtual internships are there. But our seniors are doing many other internships both paid and unpaid. As an first year student I don't know more about internship
Placement Experience :
The placements are ongoing i a proper manner. CS students are more placed than mechanical stream students. I think there are no regular hiring companies for mechanical students. those who have a CGPA of 7+ will selected for the placement group. Due to the lack of high salary packages, I am not interested in college placement. I am looking for an abroad job and have some experience there before coming back to India. I have to spend the money which I earned in my country
Campus Life :
This college was very good in events and programs till COVID-19 after that college became not interested in events and such activities. The library is filled with very vast collections of books we can access the library within the room by e-library. So many sports activities like volleyball, cricket, football, and kabaddi championships are conducted every year. intra-college football tournaments are conducted twice or thrice every year by the students. The info of the college is average because the college is like building nothing new on this. 2000's design. Even though chisel rooms are best available in this locality. but the mess food is very bad like others. we have only a veg menu and 2 types of rice.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
