An OK college with not so Ok placements
Likes
- The college is well lit and have a good air conditioned classrooms atmosphere. Cleanliness is maintained in whole of the college.
- They have a green college environment and good guarding in college.
Dislikes
- No sports in the whole campus and no knowledgeable industrial visits, just random visits.
- Faculties are of non relevant experience/ degree and are teaching students.
Remarks :
Friendly Teachers but can be like kids sometimes. Some professors are of irrelevant experience/ degree and teach us. Admission happens through DSU-MAT and can also be taken by any other MBA exams like CAT, MAT,PGCET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course to excel in my finance career. Professors are half trained half professionals type. They are mostly is irrelevant degree/ experience. The semesters were totally crushed. Our second semester came and went like wind where we couldn't even compete our syllabus with a breath.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship roles are mostly with the placements offered which are hard to get through. Most of them are of marketing and sales field and some even asked for us to have our own two wheelers for moving up down.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is mostly having a 60% overall score in the till now semester you are studying in whole placements. As of now, the Lowest package was 4 LPA, average is 4.5 LPA and the highest went to 7LPA with variables included. The average and lowest package will go down as the course Comes to end. Around 15% students out of 250 students are placed in OK companies as well as start ups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for the session 2023-25 was 9,00,000 rupees. First sem was 2,28,000. The second sem was 2,22,000. In third Sem fee was to be 2,28,000 again but they took 2,25,000. Fourth sem fee is to be 2,22,000. In first sem, they'll charge extra 2000 for library. Scholarship is only for Karnataka students.
Campus Life :
Freshers party at the start of course. Other fests in between, but mostly in first semester that's why it being the biggest semester with around 10 months. Sufficient books are available in library alongwith Desktops with headphones for use. No sports in this college. Clubs were made at start but are all vanished now.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is not there in my campus. Locality has ample amount of PGs nearby alongwith good residential areas with access to all things. The food in cafeteria is good and of OK quality. You can find vending machines also there for snacks.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
