- The King George's Medical University campus provides a variety of modern infrastructure and facilities for the convenience of the students and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The campus library facilitates learning and research by housing a large collection of printed and digital materials such as 44651 books, 29386 bound volumes, 3633 theses, 1316 CDs, 227 subscribed print journals, 1040 e-journals and 3861 e-books. There are seven fully furnished hostels with single, double, and triple occupancy, as well as a sports area, gym, reading room, canteen and guest rooms. To promote the students' overall development, a variety of indoor and outdoor sporting facilities are available, including football, cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, chess, a swimming pool, and a gym. For students to obtain a practical understanding of the disciplines, course-specific and fully equipped laboratories are available.
- Infrastructure is good with well equipped college and have all facilities that help us learn effectively.campus is also good you can imagine it's state level and UP number college, so everything is great in this college.
Dislikes
- Here sports group is only one so if many people wants to play game at same time can not play at the same time.
- Faculty of kgmu have some egoistic they don't focus on students problem and don't schedule holidays also while students suffer regarding vocation and attendance.
Remarks :
I choose this college over others college because it was university and very reputed university in medical field.i cracked entrance exam which was conducted by Kgmu abvmu with total 200 questions from biology, physics, chemistry, nursing aptitude and gk and English. My College is excellent in every aspect releted to medical science.in my college researchers goes and foreign scientist research here,so it is very reputed college.here bus facility is very bad and vacation is not given by any department. Now CNET test is held in up for nursing college admission.appear in exam,crack exam and through college allotment you can get admission in top colleges in up.cutoff to get govt college is getting 150 and above marks. I was preparing for neet in 2021 so I cracked exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is designed by INC and according to same pattern my college design schedule for every semester in well coordinated manner so that we could not suffer and every portion of syllabus could be covered.teaching methods of teachers is good,some teachers are egoistic they don't think of students if their ego hurts,they hurt their ego by themselves students don't have any intentions to hurt them but.teachers are well experienced and very well qualified they teaches very well leaving some but mostly teachers are well qualified,I have no complaints regarding their teaching methods.
Internships Opportunities :
For nursing there is internship in 8th semester but college don't pay for internship.companies don't hire but we have comptete for jobs.many of our seniors have striked for internship stipend but college didn't not approved.so till now nursing and gnm students are not getting stipend.
Placement Experience :
As per the NIRF report 2024, the King George's Medical University MDS placement percentage has been consistently 100% over the past three years (2021 to 2023). In addition, the 2023 median package for MDS was the highest of all courses, i.e. INR 16 LPA. In 2022 and 2021, the MDS median package was the same, i.e. INR 15 LPA.my plan after getting degree is to get govt job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During admission in bsc nursing I paid 34600 total fees in OBC catagory in which tution fees was about 12500, caution money was 10000 and registration fees was 5500 for the allotment of college in which 5000 was returned back as a security money so security money was 500 and lab fees 1500 and and development fees is 2000 and no any extra charges taken by university.my friend Suresh was general category,he paid 40600 during admission and got nearly 30000 as scholarship in first year.
Campus Life :
Campus is very well.there is ground in which many sports are played like football, basketball,table tenis and cricket ground, available.in my college Rhapsody is organised by mbbs 3rd year students in the month of October mostly every year,in which celebrates are invited they perform 4 to 5hrs that makes whole our whole year.here freshers are also organised with lamp lighting for new students every year in convention hall dedicated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee former prime minister of India from 1998 to 2004.library ko kgmu is well equipped with lots of books related to medical field.library environment is very good having AC running every time in summer and high quality chairs are available and 5cr is spent every year to reimburse library.there is also sports every and every department organise sports events for every department like sprint 100m race, marathon race,short put etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is available for every students for mbbs and nursing students.seperate hostel for girls and boys are available.girks hostel is in campus and boys outside the campus.hostel affordability is good you can get affordable foods in every mess and quality is decent.hostel you get at the time of admission

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
