Full meal for my life
Remarks :
I have gone through top 5 government colleges of the state, and this college found to be associated with well known hospitals, centrally located in city with many transportation facilities, good faculty, an average infrastructure and newly established boys hostel attracted me to choose it. The only bad aspect I found is that working place is at around 3km distance from college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was interested in learning human science I choosed the stream. The course is of around 5.5 years long including 1 year for internship. The college has 1:15 ratio of faculty and students. And the faculty has a qualification of masters and good experience in their department. The college supportes self directed learning and they have recently included visual learning program in association with iiit. They often conduct term exams in every 4 months.
Internships Opportunities :
Qualifying in the 4th year exams give the student eligibility to appear for internships. College itself provides internship opportunities during the end of the course in the well recognised hospitals.
Placement Experience :
No placements are found. But job opportunities are many, once the student is qualified with MBBS degree from this college can earn from 30000 to 60000 in his/her initial days by approaching the hospitals directly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Mess charges are 48000, room charges are 3600 and tution fees is 17511 "per year". Overall the total cost to study will be around 80711 including books and uniform expense. The state government provides scholarship of 12000 and many private NGOs also helps the students in meeting their expenses like NSF, FFE, Sankshema.
Campus Life :
BEATS is the annual fest conducted every year in the month of September. Almost all the Indian author books are available in the library, and professors are too cooperative in writing journals and thesis. Classrooms are well ventilated with a space for all the 250 students at a time. Every class room has a projector teaching facility.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are good and alloted for 3 members in each with good ventilation and seperate space for bathrooms and washrooms. The quality of food is fine with a price of 3500/month including breakfast, lunch and dinner. College allontment order is essential for hostel room allotment. The staff guides you to pay fees as per the rules.
Interview Experience :
During my intermediate 2nd year I have attempted the national wide medical entrance test which includes biology, physics and chemistry of intermediate 1st and 2nd year. I have gone through subject wise NCERT text books for preparation and cleared the exam. The exam consist of only 1 round where nearly 18 lac students appear for it.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
