- Hostel rooms are big for two people and have attached washrooms and AC.
- Mess food is good with a variety of items in the menu including chicken, eggs and paneer.
Dislikes
- No sports facilities at temporary campus, and no allowance to hire turfs and courts for sports.
- Girls' hostel and Boys' hostel are far away and no visiting hours allowed, so it gets difficult to work on group projects etc.
Remarks :
Very good curriculum, stacked course with a diverse set of subjects. Small batch size hence more opportunities for interaction with faculties. A sense of community amongst all batches, no ragging everyone is friendly no matter if they're senior or junior, amazing hostels compared to other colleges offering the same course. IPMAT Indore written exam only, no interview or group discussion.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it includes an MBA from IIFT, and the curriculum is great. The course consists of a BBA in Business Analytics and an MBA in International Business. The subjects are very diverse and interesting, ranging from psychology, economics and yoga to CSR, CMA, Power BI and Statistics. Most of the faculty is very well qualified, we have a lot of guest faculties for many subjects, and they are good too. We have 2 exams each semester - Mid sem and End sem - with moderate to high level of difficulty. The college follows a relative grading pattern, which is similar to normal distribution.
Internships Opportunities :
The Corporate Relations and Placement Division of IIFT KAKINADA is very hardworking and dedicated to getting more and more internships and placement opportunities for the students. As of now it has brought internships for many students, and a lot of students are also trying to fetch internships on their own.
Placement Experience :
The first batch will complete their BBA + MBA in 2027 and will have centralised placements with IIFT Delhi and Kolkata. The next batches are not guaranteed centralised placements, but we hope it might change. IIFT Delhi's placement reports are excellent and can be accessed on their website.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
6,48,253 for first year and 6,28,253 for the next two years of BBA. MBA fees as per tariff in the respective year. This includes: Tuition fee - 4,00,000 Other charges - 38,253 for first year and 28,253 for the next two years of BBA Hostel and mess fee - 2,00,000 Merit cum need scholarship is available. External scholarships are also available.
Campus Life :
We are currently at a temporary campus, our permanent campus should be ready to move in by late 2025. There are only three batches as of now, and the total strength is 134 (40 + 46 + 48 batch-wise). Due to this there is a strong sense of community and everyone is nice to everyone else. We celebrate festivals and we have a flagship sports event "AIKYAM" every semester conducted by the sports committee. It includes football, cricket, badminton and volleyball as of now and we plan on adding more sports with time. There are a lot of committees and clubs and also chapters of international student organisations like GAEE, 180DC, ENACTUS, Girl Up etc. The classrooms are very well equipped and very good. We don't have sports facilities at the temporary campus so we have to hire badminton courts and turfs to play sports. The library is decent and has a lot of books. We have regular events conducted by clubs, committees an chapters. We also have seminars and sessions by esteemed guests.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is mandatory for everyone. Mess food is good enough with chicken / paneer twice a week and good vegetarian food for the rest of the week. Hostels have big rooms with attached personal washrooms and AC. The rooms are shared by two students each. The locality of boys' hostel is peaceful and quiet, whereas the girls' hostel is in a more happening and social locality. Hostel and mess fees is 1,00,000 per semester (2,00,000 per year) and is decent for the facilities available. The girls' hostel is 2km away from campus and boys' hostel is 5km. The students are provided buses for transportation (managed by me).

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
