- First of location of our department makes it important.all the faculty are well trained.
- Teacher to students connection are very good .
Dislikes
- I think there should be separate canteen of our department.
- Renovation is required for it.There should be a new physical chemistry lab.
Remarks :
Basically major factor for choosing this college is fees affordability.And campus placement is also good .college provide campus placement of around average 8 lpa. Department also provide internships opportunity in 3rd year
Course Curriculum Overview :
Basically our department has three branches chemical,food technology and chemical+mba.All the faculty are well skilled and 3 professor are in top 2% professor of world .there are some guest faculty in department they are also well experienced.
Internships Opportunities :
Basically our college in field of chemical engineering plays a important role.This is one of best college in North India in chemical engineering branch.Interenship are provided by department in 3rd year .
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria to apply for internship and placement is to maintain overall 7 cgpa.all well known companies related to chemical and technical branch visit college.Time to time placement session are arranged.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You can take admission in this department by jee mains score on jac chandigarh counselling.During admission you have to pay 7500rs which is refundable.Total fees of odd semester is 17500+even semester 5000
Campus Life :
Basically our chemical department lies in heart of Panjab University.You can enjoy with friends all over pu campus.There is well known student centre where you can spend time with your friends. There is availablilty of biggest north library known as Ac joshi
Hostel Facilities :
There are limited seat of hostel which department provide .you can get hostel. seat on basis of jee mains rank .There are total 8 boys and 8 girls hostel in Panjab University .There is permission to all boys and girls to go out of hostel in campus 24*7 .

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
