- The college campus is developed a lot when compared to our timings. The infrastructure, garden, fountains are inculcated in the campus now.
- The library has all the books and each department has separate libraries.
Dislikes
- There was no good cafeteria or the canteen during my college days as it was the time of Corona's rule.
- There need to be more events held like cultural fests, tech fests , sports , college fests etc.
Remarks :
This college is in Vijayapura, which is my home town. This is the famous and reputed college in Vijayapura. So I decided to be a part of this institute. I got the government seat in this college, so there were no interviews or any kind of examinations to me. The cutoff for branches are different so I was able to get my preferred course as my ranking was good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had chosen this as this stream help me chose either product based companies or service based. Technology is developing day by day and the electronics plays a major role so this made me to choose this. There are well experienced faculties. Some lecturers are friendly and help student by being student with a student. Some are too strict who give much importance to studies but not to any other cultural activities or events. There were weekly tests, Internal Assessments and sem exams. The difficulty level would increase respectively.
Internships Opportunities :
Corona was the major obstacle for the internship and job opportunities. There were no internship given in the college and even after getting placed we were on boarded too late due to recession. Online internships for Java full stack was provided at the campus. Now they have also started with IoT internships with better hands on.
Placement Experience :
All the well reputed companies had visited the campus. Some of the companies had the criteria like students should have more than 60% in their entire education system and there should not be any back logs. Companies like Wipro, TCS, IBM, Infosys, SLK and many other gave opportunities to students. The average package was 4,00,000LPA. More than 50% of the students were placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall fees for the first year was 80,000+ 30,000 which is college development fees. The rest 3 years fees was 80,000 which is the government fees. The management fees was 1,50,000/year for EC. They also have many categories for scholarship like SNQ quota, SC/ST quota, etc. No other scholarships were available than this. Now the government fees is increasing, yearly there has been increase in fees around 10,000 to 15,000 per year.
Campus Life :
There were Youth fest and Sambrama which would happen in grand. Sambrama was the college annual fest and Youth fest was held in different colleges as competition. There were sports matches held among the branches and sports events outside the college too. There a huge library with all the books availabe and there are department libraries too. There's a page bldeacet on instagram which shares all the events or special happenings at the college campus.
Hostel Facilities :
I was a day scholar so I didn't opt for hostel or a PG. The hostel facilities were good, they had good food in timely manner. They had breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Different varieties of food was given as my friends in hostel would tell about it and carry it to the college. They also celebrate festivals in hostel and have some events too. The boys hostel was in college campus, and the ladies hostel was away from college campus. They had bus facility for traveling from hostel to college. There are timings too for hostel at night.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
