I appeared for CET examination that is conducted by GGSIPU for new admissions, secured a rank that offered me Vips as well. Due to some reasons, I switched to Tips. After, securing a seat allotment in Trinity, a visit to college along with fee receipt and other documents like marksheets etc, was scheduled.
I chose BAJMC, since I wanted to get into core journalism and explore it's diverse aspects. The faculty is renowned in its respective fields, with a friendlt approach which makes it a win-win situation for students in order to grow and learn but still have a comfortable environment around. The semester end examinations were scheduled on time, and the difficulty of exam is mid.
I'm doing internship with Times of India, but didn't get selected through college. I haven't applied thru college, all the internships I've done has been my individual and outside approach,
Placement cell of TIPS focuses more on bagging internship opportunities for students than Placements at the end of the year. Although, companies from diverse sectors like It, media visit the college, offering a package starting mostly from 4LPA, the placement cell has been focusing on internships.
The fees is divided into student activity fees, tuition fees, and university fee, which ranges 1000, 107300, and 20,000 respectively. There are scholarship aids available for students based on their merit/cgpa.
Tips has a relatively smaller campus than other ip colleges, but it's an experience of its own. Fests like UNMAD, AND ANUGOONJ are conducted around Jan-Feb. There are well equipped activitiy rooms, like radio room and tv production room for journalism students. Books of varied genres are available in the library as well. High speed internet connection, well equipped classrooms with smart boards are present. Tips has many internal societies in college for extracurricular growth, like Shaurya from Dramatics, Dance society, NSS that acts like social group and others.
There are no hostel services provided by Trinity Institute of Professional Studies which is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, with its Main campus in Dwarka, New Delhi, India... I had to put 100, since the website doesn't take blank account.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
