- The campus is huge with an area of 900 acers, and if you got good friends out there, then the two years will end like a day
Dislikes
- Faculty(some of them), placement, campus roads
- Faculties are well qualified, but you get a dictator type of attention from them. Also placements are below average
Remarks :
We have to pass the CUET( central university entrance test) Life at Pondicherry University is vibrant and full of opportunities. The campus is a cultural hub, with students from across India and abroad fostering a diverse and enriching environment. Social life thrives through informal gatherings, group discussions, and festive celebrations, creating a close-knit community. Clubs and activities cater to varied interests, including literature, dance, music, and social service, with regular events, workshops, and competitions adding excitement. The modern infrastructure includes a vast library, well-equipped classrooms, comfortable hostels, and recreational facilities like sports grounds and gyms. Surrounded by greenery and near Puducherry’s beaches, the campus offers a perfect mix of learning and leisure, making it a place for holistic growth and unforgettable memories.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the MBA in International Business because it aligns with my career aspirations of working in a global business environment. This course offers a comprehensive understanding of international markets, trade, and cross-cultural management, which are crucial in today’s interconnected world. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, such as case studies, industry interactions, and projects, to build essential skills. The diverse subjects, including marketing, finance, and human resources, provide a well-rounded perspective. Additionally, the program’s focus on global trends and strategies prepares me to adapt and excel in dynamic business scenarios, making it the perfect choice for my professional goals.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, my course required two intership projects, you can choose any company of your own and choose the topic and present it. Many of them who try to do intership in good companies got intership - full time opportunity
Placement Experience :
The placements are not good. No big companies came for our placement, also many of the positions are for sales Only less that 40% of them are placed The best option is to try off campus placement or get connected with any faculty and ask for referral.

Campus Life :
You may find some difficult at the beginning to copup with food and weather. The weather is too hot in December and January University provides support to start social groups and clubs Also political organization like abvp,sfi,ksu,msf are also present
Hostel Facilities :
I was an hostler and i was fully satisfied with the facilities The mess food quality is not that good The registration process is easy but to go from department to hostels office you may find difficult because of having luggage and all. The locality have many rooms but i will only suggest hostel

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Most of the departments are providing placement for their students.In commerce and management departments Banks are the largest employers. For attending in the placement the concent from Head of department is needed

There are many vast companies coming for the Training and placement centre for placements.There are chances of good scholars to get placements in higher companies.There are job opportunities for the students
All about MVIT
Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
