We have to apply for the cuet pg entrance exam based on marks universities provide cutoff on that basis we have to apply for Universities Once we shortlisted in university admissions they will call us for joining. Factors that made to me join in this college is because of course which I am interested in this
Course Curriculum Overview :
M.A politics and international relations course is which is trendy for the upsc optional. This course is best for the working in foreign affairs ministry . Faculty is well experienced and comfortable for us In curriculum for 100 marks 50 is pass mark in every subject internal 40 marks external exam 60 marks
Placement Experience :
There is placement cell available in the university. Authority will inform the students if any placement drive will be there these placement are mostly available for the technical department and management department there is less chances to the social science and humanities branches

Academic fees: 1st semester - 19042 2nd semester - 1700 3rd semester - 9700 4th semester - 1700 Mess fees is based on academic calendar Per day 78 rupees as in now Authority will charge from the starting date of semester to end date of semester which they mentioned in academic calendar Scholarships are available in the National scholarship portal based on eligiblity we will get scholarship
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very enjoyable and beautiful. Every month there is department fest will happens Ex Akanksha for MBA department and also various festivals also celebrated by students. Ugadhi onam pongal are most important and well celebrtions will going on. Environment is so pleasant. Opposite to the university is having beach
Hostel Facilities :
At present, Pondicherry University has twenty two hostels in the campus, of which, fourteen are for boys and eight are for girls. Out of the fourteen boys’ hostels, ten are for PG courses and four for Research Scholars. Out of eight girls’ hostels, seven are for PG students and one is for Research Scholars. The Karaikal Campus has two hostels one for Boys and one for girls. One boys hostel and one girls hostel is available at Port Blair Campus also. Foreign Students’ Hostels The University has Air Conditioned & non-Air Conditioned hostel rooms available for the foreign students. 40 rooms are available in C.V.Raman Hostel for boys and 49 rooms are available in Madame Curie for girls. The fee structure for the foreign students are different from that of the general hostel students. Foreign Students are expected to pay hostel fees at the time of hostel admission.

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
