Honest review of KMIT from an ambivert
Remarks :
There was only TSEAMCET rank criteria but I think you can take admission through Jee Mains rank card too. As KMIT is in heart of the hyd city it's convenient to travel as almost all other engg colleges are far away near outskirts. And there are many good places to hangout.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good enough but I would suggest to prepare for everything by yourself. But placement faculty is awesome, there is no additional fees for training and placement. They teach and guide through the whole process. I'm really thankful to them
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is great. As the market was bad during my placements but I still got a decent job , there is no additional fees. Placements take place in another campus which is situated in uppal , for kmit students college provides buses for traveling to and from placement campus. Other campus is also under kmit.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got a free seat as my TSEAMCET rank was below 5k but there was no option for selecting TS board so I selected AP board as it's almost same. So for below 5k it's free seat as scholarship is provided by TS Govt if you have a income certificate stating that your family income per year is below 5 lakhs. And if rank is between 5-10k you will get reimbursement of 35k from govt after paying fees (few colleges deduct while payment as govt credits the amount to college). If you are OC then there are no benefits, if you have the EBC(Economically Backward class) certificate then you will get scholarship and it's better to have EWS(Economical weaker section) certificate too. For other castes you get a small compensation from govt like 2-5k depending upon caste. If you don't have scholarship but you have a good enough rank to join the college then the fees is 1.5 lakhs according to me but if you are not eligible then you can buy the seat by paying donation amount ( I don't know how this works)
Campus Life :
Social life is pretty good. You can be famous, quirky or disappear in crowd depending upon how you want. There are 3 main events every year and many clubs to join. You can write, sing ,dance and do whatever you want
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel and college bus as college is middle of city. But there are numerous hostel just outside the campus and they are pretty affordable. As it's a RSS college strictly non veg is not served in canteen but students can bring if they want to. I'm giving it a 10 star as it's mandatory but I have seen my friends hostels and they are very decent and fees is okish for the services

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
