- College's infrastructure is very well maintained better than others in top 10 of mp, Faculties are helpul and approachable
- Campus life is very eventful and fulfilling
Dislikes
- nothing major just the crowd in general and collective is not very good
- Coding environment is not there yet, if you want to pursue competitive programming, you should and would have to do it solo
Remarks :
Admission is done through MPDTE portal on basis of JEE rank, I put this college as my top 2 choice right after sgsits, I got mits and sgsits because of not being able to clear cutoff, MITS is easily among top 5 engineering colleges in mp that's why I chose it and accommodation was easy too, Location wise, campus is at a perfect spot with railway station being 2 km away
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is flexible and as the institute is autonomous the syllabus gets updated more readily so the whole curriculum is very flexible and usually more up to date to latest tech than other contemporary institutes Faculties are all supportive and friendly, they are very easy to approach
Internships Opportunities :
Companies exclusively offering internships are low, namely only praedico, but mass recruiters usually Offer internship too alongwith LOI, Namely Accenture, LTI, Cognizant, Newgen and Hashedin all are offering internship too to the selected students
Placement Experience :
College's eligibility criteria is minimum 6 cgpa I am currently in the final year, this year multiple companies have visited this year, namely Accenture, LTI, Cognizant, Tejas, Atidan, Deltax, Hashedin, Newgen, rinex, sopra steria And yes I was placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are paid per semester, with each year having two semesters. For the first year, the fees are higher because of admission charges. Although I am not giving exact numbers, I paid ?113000 for the first year. subsequently, for the next three years my fees were around ?86000 per year, divided into ?52000-55000 for the first semester and 32000-33000 for the second, the fees paid by each batch higher than the previous batch SC-ST students can receive the SC-ST scholarship, which provides 100% waiver All students can also apply for MMVY scholarship which also provides 100% waiver for which requirements are 1. Achieve atleast 85% (if from cbse board) or 70% (if from MP board) 2.secure a rank under 150000 in JEE mains 3. Family income lower than 750000 per year
Campus Life :
Campus life is really great and enjoyable, fest and cultural events are organised almost at every fortnight or even sooner, Social life depends person to person but usually it is really great individually too, Library is available to all and library has wide range of books, college even provides e - library which has even more varied books and in greater number
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opt for hostel or rented or PG as I am from Gwalior. MITS location wise is perfect, it is located in a major market, railway station/bus stand is only around 2-3 kms away and even airport around 6 kms away, finding a PG or room nearby is easy and rent in gwalior is cheaper comparative to indore

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

If you are focused on your studies you can get really good opportunities here as companies like accenture,TCS, Wipro and Tata Mahindra come here every year and many more companies too. The college provides training and placement classes from 2nd year onwards.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
