A genuine review of my college
Likes
- Best part sports facility of here . College provides us all the required sports equipments and also we have huge playground for playnig.
- Also I like bonding between seniors and juniors they are live like friends and always ready for helping each other .
Dislikes
- I dislike mainly the non organised campus and road of our college . They need repairing as soon as possible but college autherity ignore this thing.
- I dislike here hostel enviorment which is full with branchism and lots of politics . Which the main reason students are fighting with each other with different matters.
Remarks :
According to me there is a best which I like here that there is a huge campus here in which we can held easily any cultural and or sports function and bad thing that here placement are not that good as needed. For admission you have to give either JEE MAINS or BCECE ( Bihar Engineering )Exam after that we have to apply for counselling ( For JEE students you have to go for UGEAC Counselling and for Bihar engineering exam you have to go for BCECE Counselling ) . You can fill your favourite branches and colleges in choice filling . After somedays result of counselling will be published and you got your college with respect to your rank . For this college and upper branches like CSE , AI or EEE you have to score at least 80 percentile if you are from general category if you are from SC-ST then you got these branches at 65 percentile only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I have much interest in Electrical and electonics items and I love exploring new gadgets . There is very good faculties with high qualification ( means some are from IIT or NIT graduate or Ph.D. holders also ) . They teaches us well and help us in academic problems or non academics problems also . Except some faculties all faculties are good in behaviour with their caligues and their students. There are two exams in a semester here a mid sem exam which is of 30 marks and a End Sem Exam which is of 70 marks . Except these written exam there is practical exam and viva also which is of 50 marks. All exams are on time except some critical cases from government sides and one thing also, all exams are very tough because we have to study hard for these exams.
Internships Opportunities :
There are some internships are given by the help of colleges which is the part of your course but for getting the valuable and better internships opportunities you have to fight very hard . But there is lots of students who got internships from companies like FLIPCART , AMAZON , CDAC, DRDO in which they got stipend also with certificate and lots of knowledge . Students got different type of roles in projects with respect to there subject and choices .
Placement Experience :
There is different eligibility criteria according to companies are present for placement but at least you have 6.75 CGPA for most of the companies placements . There is ACC, DeWall ADs , CDAC , Wipro , Infosys, TCS like companies visited our college campus for placement. Highest placement from our college is around 12.5 LPA whereas average package is around 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh per annum. There is around 60 percent student got placements in which majority are from upper branches like CSE, AI and EEE . My plan after getting the degree of Engineering I go for higher studies (M.tech).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We are paying here around 14000 rupees per year in which there is 3100 rupees as admission charge for General and OBC category and for SC-ST it is very less. Registration fees or Examination fees is 7400 rupees per year for General whereas for SC-St it is 700 rupees only but there is development fees which is around 2500 rupees for all category . There is NSP or PMS like scholarships available here if you fulfill all the required criteria then you can avail these scholarship ( it is for some selected caste students only ) . There is also Student Credit Card Loan accepted here in which you can avail loan up to 4 lakhs for your course at very least interest rate.
Campus Life :
There is our annual fest named UMANG which is held every year in first or second weak of november in which there is many sports and cultural activities . Mainly in this annual fest newly admitted students got intracted by their senior and know about their college . Except this annual fest there is Engineer's Day , Sarswati Puja , Fresher's Party and many more functions held time to time in which everyone participated and enjoyed very well. There is a huge library present in our college in which around 16000 books of different engineering or non engineering subjects are present which you can avail for 4 months or read in library also. Sports facility is the best thing of Motihari College of Engineering because there is avaliblity and interest both presents that why students are very attracted towards sports also. For extra curricular activities there is different types of groups present here for different things like Zero one coding club , Dancing club and so many more.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food of here is not that good it is 3 out of 5 means have average quality. There is a fix menu in which you got Non Veg 2 times in a week and Vegeterian people got Paneer that day . Registration or Allotment process for hostel is on the basis of students academic performance or by the help of seniors . For room you can check out the areas of T point , DAV mode , BYPASS Mode or in worst situation you can also go for HAWAI ADDA.

Placement Experience :
Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Review for B.Tech ECE at GEC Buxar (BEU)
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
