Yes there is a written test and interviews for newly admission which you have to passed after that only you will get chance to get admission on our college . The exam which we attempt in this course is mscte
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because there is plenty of scope after you graduate from this course.Like you can go for JE in PWD or in PHE or you can also work as contractor In 1 year their is 2 terms one term is for six months
Internships Opportunities :
Yes you can do internship in PWD and learn about all the works with the help of a engineer by going with them through servey and works along with them as a experience if you are lucky enough that you will also get job with them
Placement Experience :
After getting my degree I will be joining in PWD or PHE as an junior engineer as I really want to join in Public Health Engineering (PHE) as an Junior Engineer (JE) so that I can work for the public and support each and everyone
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes there is scholarship freshly applyer will get 12000 first then if you renew it you will get 16000 or 18000 something like that . The fees are all same for any course or batches so it's good it's not so costly for exam fee you just have to pay 350 only for one semester
Campus Life :
Life in campus was awesome I miss those days wish I could go back to those days Yes their is a fest called college weeks in those weeks their is different different things like prom night twining days and much more
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I stayed in hostel and it was good the food which they give in hostel mess was actually good. If you want to stay in hostel then you have to apply through online they will give you the link in their website which is Shillongpolytechnic.com the hostel is situated in Mawlai kyntonmassar

The employment rate of my course is demanding so I opt this. Also there is campus opportunity for some courses available in the college. After biotechnology you can choose any profession like professor researcher etc .

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.
