Remarks :
there were no gd,interviews or written test. the good aspects or the positives were: campus environment, it was well maintained and provides a good feeling and a positive atmosphere. the faculty was highly knowledgeable and approachable and is always ready to help students. the negatives : the campus was slightly away from the city,making it difficult to access the college. placement variability,core branches have good placement other branches had less placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the curriculum is updated periodically to keep up with industry standards,especially in emerging fields like AI,ML and cyber security. the B.tech prgm spans 8 semesters over 4 years. each semester has a mix of core and elective subjects,along with lab and project work. i selected this course due to its high demand and placement oppertunities. the college follows a semester system with 2 internal assessmets and one end semester examination. there are also internal lab exams which are conducted once in a semester followed by end semester examination for the same. the internal exams are not that difficult as it is conducted by the college, but the end semester exam difficulty varies according to subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
i have not opted for any internships. the college does not provide many internships, apart from one or two. if a company offers internships in the college ,the stipend varies from 10000 to upward. minimum is 10000.
Placement Experience :
the placement opportunities at scms are robust,with focus on prepairing students for the it industry and other technical domains. students who have no backlogs and having a cgpa of 7 and above are eligible for placements. notable visited recruiters are cognizant,ey. placements starts from 7th semester onwards. the highest package offered was 8 LPA. the average package is 3.6 LPA. around 85% of students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure is depends on the quotas. for govt quota the fee structure is 70000+10000(caution deposit) per year, for management quota the fee structure is above 100000 per year, for nri, i dont have much idea.they provide scholarships based on academeic performances and entrance exam performance.
Campus Life :
my experience in scms was a mix of everything.the college provides opportunities to engage in events,clubs, and other activites. the fest conducted by scms include vipanchika and ignis. the library in scms is one of the best libraries,which has a wide variety of journals,books and research papers. the classrooms are equipped with projectss for displaying. air-conditioned seminar halls for guest lectures and workshops are present. wifi connectivity is available around the campus. a large sports ground for football and cricket. courts for basketball,volleyball and badminton. also contains dance clubs and fashion clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
I'm a day scholar so i don't have much information about the college mess but as of what I've heard it is good.they provide good quality food and accommodation the locality is quite peaceful with lots of greenery.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
