Well for me it was my parents decision to get into one of the best colleges in Kerala, hence TKM was the first and last choice. The college atmosphere is great for students to get chill and vibe with their fellow classmates and other batch mates as well. A lot of extracurricular activities and better sessions, Ted talks, clubs, all brewed up by creative students of TKMCE. Professors and faculties are very helpful for all of our sessions and activities. Always filled with vibrant event once every month. Well if you are looking for a place to spread your wings and turn your creative ideas of technology and innovation, the college does help you in every aspect. Academically speaking, they will test you limits, the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Be really careful while dealing with lab equipments (fluid and thermal labs). If you are looking for a college to excel in life, then TKMCE provides is with seminars, sessions on interviews helps in effective career building.
I choose this course even after graduation I can divert into any other new courses if I wanted to try in the future. Faculties are friendly, they help you with every steps and assists you in every topics making sure everyone understands the topics they're teaching us. Tests our management abilities with providing us with assignments and seminars. But it's for our own good so keep that in mind. Labs faculties thoroughly explains us about all the equipments with extreme caution and safety procedures. Each semester for us were for 4 and half months. Usually before covid it was 6 months now it's 4 . Inorder to catch up with the time we lost due to covid.
No I haven't looked up for internship during my college time. I was already occupied with seminars and project assignments, but did attend some workshops on design of engine of Harley Davidson. I was more hooked up on startups innovations.
The placement opportunities are from very famous companies of India like Tata, MRF, Wipro and some many more... So there is tough competition for students to get placed and is not easy. Placement examinations are there, then interview.
Well I got into my college on management quota. At first seats for mechanical engineering were full. But at that time, that is 2020 they removed the mechanical production course, thus new seats . Therefore it cost me ?9 lakhs to get a seat at TKMCE. And the admission fee , tuition fee, registration, fee, lab fee, etc... it all cost upto around ?13000. But for my classmates who got into via entrance exams maybe less than ?10500 or so I guess as the admission fee.
Oh the college freshers programs are very exciting for freshers and we love interacting and guiding them about our college. Each year at first Ted X (Ted talk) programs are usually looked upto as the guests that are aspiring and inspirational influencers that students look upto. Then comes many cultural programs that it's hard to list them all down.Film fest is one of the most exciting fests. Then there is the annual college fest. The very fest that attracts most of the other colleges of Kerala to here. People always loved. The four days of greatest memories of our life. Industrial visits are super awesome. And then there is the 15 days all India tour. Where we spend at most 1 or 2 days on every major attractive states of India. College life is just amazing filled with laugh and joy and we were living utmost during our college life. Hope we could spent a little more time there.
Hostel life was good according to my friends. Friendly interaction with seniors and junior were nice and loved the vibe. Even though sometimes the mess food is not to our taste still they amazed with new and new menus every year.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
