In 2019, this was the only college offering bond to MBBS students… since there was big fees difference for bonded and non bonded I chose this college over others in uttrakhand A year later govt reduced the fees to 1.5 lpa
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is entirely NMC based. Yes, this college lacks faculty But faculty increased in last 5 years Now almost every deptt have faculty members In 2019, many deptt are entirely run by residents
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is compulsory You don’t have to opt Every one to have graduated the MBBS curriculum has to complete 365 days mandatory internship No way out Internship is done in own base hospital Interns have good clinical exposure Helping them to learn good.
Placement Experience :
Internship is compulsory in MBBS MBBS curriculum is incomplete without internship completion Internship is completed in own base hospital After than JR (non acad) are choosen based on rank in MBBS. Rest are sent to PHCs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
50000/annum for bonded students And 4,50,000 without bond Now non bonded students fees has been brought down by govt to 1,50,000 While fees for bonded students remain the same. Fees str is decided by govt
Campus Life :
Campus life is not as good as other medical colleges No social life No clubs Basic infrastructure Now infrastructure is being made Volleyball court, basketball court etc are made. Lib is very good Centralised AC
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are basic With 1-2 roomates Small rooms 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel Big boys hostel is 100 seated While others are 50-75 seated Internship hostels are different near the base hospital for feasible to duties

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
