I actually gave exams for DU admissions but couldn’t get BCom their & had to choose this college due to family pressure. When i went for admission, no written test was conducted, only an interview was conducted to test my k knowledge , abilities & know about my future plans.. The college is great academically but not otherwise, the events are poorly managed & it’s more of a school than college due to unnecessary rules & regulations.. some of the faculty members are great & cooperative while others are too narrow minded.. overall i’ll rate it 3/10
Course curriculum is great, most teachers have great methods of teaching & they cooperate which students. In first year subjects like financial accounting, English communication, business maths, computer applications, french, management & organisational behaviour , business economics are taught!
For First Year- 170,000 For Second Year- 185,000 For Third Year- 190,000 For Fourth Year- 210,000 These include the course fee, registration fees, security deposit, activity fees, etc… 10% discount for single mothers & 20% scholarships for students who have scored 90% or above in their 12th examination
Campus is too small for any college. No events or social clubs are available for freshers, HODs are not at all cooperative & faculty members are unaware, if someone wants to focus on their academics only, but for someone like me, who wants a great balance in academic & social life, it’s hell
I don’t have hostel as it is too over priced, the size of room & the type of food they provide, if we rent a PG & eat food outside it would cost us 75,000 an year but in hostel only 2 meals are provided that too stale & small rooms with no ventilation
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
