- Infrastructure is good and clean, hostel and main campus. EV Services are available for transport
- Faculty are very competent and know their subject.
Dislikes
- Management is completely against the students. They had policies like Checking every parcel, our hostel rooms will be given to other students for a month while we are away for internship. Very cunning management. I think they hate us
- Since this college also has STME, SoL, Pharma and all other courses which have younger students, a lot of their restrictions are imposed on MBA students too who are much older. Some things like exaggerated bans of websites on wifi like Amazon, pinterest, online shopping, OTTs etc is too much and too unnecessary. Even some websites which we need to access for college work are banned including linkedin. Nmims does everything to make our life tough for absolutely no reason. Too much nonsense.
Remarks :
NMAT aptitude test. I got 206 which was the exact cut off. Went to NMIMS Mumbai campus to give Wilson Test, and Interview. Prepared from YouTube and via Google for these rounds. You can always use AI to better frame your answers
Course Curriculum Overview :
I needed to do an MBA this year. NMIMS Academic is same across all campus which was one of the main reasons for choosing this college. Placement is decent given that I'm a fresher. All Faculties are Ph.D and teach well. A few are extremely bad at either teaching or overall class control. Trimester system. Every 3 months final exams and rest marks are internal according to Assignments, Reports, Presentations, etc.
Internships Opportunities :
I opted out from college Internships. But my batchmates have got into companies like CRISIL, Deloitte, Hdfc Bank, HSBC Bank, axis Bank, ProcMart, JP Morgan, EY and other top companies. As well as a few startups who are hiring mba graduates like AIM india and Nroute
Placement Experience :
Placements are based mostly on your major and minors. Companies for Summer Internship and Final Placements start coming from August till February. Out of 300 students in my batch, 250 must be placed right now. I've personally opted out. Highest package I think is 19LPA. 100% placements (to say).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven't received any scholarship as such. Per year fee structure is same. 10.5L for Acads and 2.5L for 10 months hostel stay. So 13L per year and 2 years is 26L. Other programs from same college like Law and engineering have a much lesser fee amount. Around 2L per month
Campus Life :
Lot of Clubs and Committees exist for our SBM program ran by students- Seniors and Juniors. Cultural committee, sports committee, finance, marketing, Hr club, etc. Overall club committee experience is pretty good and networking is extensive. Almost all important books are available in Library related to our course. The campus is under construction all the time so a few extracurricular activities are not possible. Plus the location is a complete scam. Even though it's called NMIMS Hyderabad, it's actually near a random town called Jadcherla on a highway.
Hostel Facilities :
Application for hostel, process is pretty easy through website. Decent Food quality. Bad paneer. A bit overpriced. Although we go have a sick bay, 2 theatre rooms, gym, grocery shop, laundry room and 2 huge washrooms w 8 bathrooms and 6 shower rooms on each floor. But nothing is maintained as well as they can.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
A great place to meet like minded people

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.
A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
