The college was my first choice for following reasons this was the first Veterinary College built in India due to which it has a very good reputation the campus was very good with great amenities for the students this college was the closest to my home due to which i didnt need hostel
I chose this course cause of various job opportunities it offers, plus if you are a Animal Lover, this course is perfect for you as you get to care for them The faculty members are very qualified and the teaching experience of them is vast The exams are conducted as follows Over the year there are three internal assessments of 40 marks, out of three best of 2 are selected for marks calculation and at the end of year the annual theory and practical exams are conducted.
The total course is of 4 and 1/2 years with 1 year of internship The fees structure for general category is as follows:- 1st year- 58610 2nd year-53260 3rd year-53260 4th year-79810 Internship-33200 For EWS students according to the income the tution fee discount may be 100% or 50%
The life in campus is great, it has a lot of amenities for the students including library, gym, a big playground and classroom with ac The events that take place in the college are 1)dog show 2)annual fest called spandan 3)sports week The month in which these events take place varies according to the situation
The Hostel rooms are average and can definitely be improved, in one hostel room 4 students are housed, the food in the mess and canteen is also average but it is affordable, im a day scholar but im telling about hostel from a friend of mine who is a hosteller
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
