- The infrastructure of the college os very good with well furnished classrooms, clean toilets ,well equipped library and auditorium
- The teaching of sjcl is done by very proficient lectures who well knowleged in the subject
Dislikes
- No much preference for sports and no college teams
- Canteen products are a bit to expensive for certain products.
Remarks :
The factors tht made me choose this college is the reputation and brand name. The admission process is a very lengthy and slow process which starts from sending an online application. They will revert back with a mail calling for the interview. It includes an online entrance test with personal interviews. For the interview just stick on to the basics of law and be aware of current affairs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Bcom llb yo pursue as a lawyer in the corporate sector. The faculties teaching in SJCL are very highly qualified and with a lot of experience. They are very easily approachable at any time and soo helping. The teaching method is activity based teaching which includes so many presentations, panel discussions to boost ur oratory skills. The teem exams are conducted once in every sem at ending and they are of 80 marks and 20 marks hold the internal which incl a 10 mark exam and 10 marks for presentations. The difficulty level of the exams are not so tough but u need to refer previous year queztion papers thoroughly to gain marks and have a good understanding abt the type of questions asked
Internships Opportunities :
The internships are compulsory and shld be done for 4 weeks every year. The college provides with a list of places to intern at makes it easy for the students to opt from these. Aprt from these places students can also intern at places of their own by getting an approval by the college.
Placement Experience :
The placements of sjcl are not much talked about. The employability plans after the course includes plans like interning under a lawyer or applying at law firms. Having additional skills give a boost in the resume and helps in getting better packages by the applied firms.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees tht need to be paid is starting from 1150000 - 140000 in 5 yrs respectively. The fees of all these are added with 3500 extra as university fees. U are required to pay at addition of 5500 for uniform but this is not compulsory. The exam fees cost around 1798 per sem and the backlogs fees are also added which differs per sem but for each subject it comes above 500. For revaluation we nees to pay 500 for every paper.
Campus Life :
There are so many fests conducted every sem by the college which are so much fun. Fest like malang, manthana,utkarsh and many more. The library holds wide variety of books and journals and there os no book related to law which u will not find in the library all the books u need will be found. The sports in our college is not the preferred as it is a professional course but there is interclass sports competition which goes on for a month and is a lot of fun. There are many clubs related to law and non law which help in buliding a good social atmosphere in the campus
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is 1.5km away from the college. It includes food and other benefits. The food quality is not so preferred by the students. The registration for the hostel is done after the admission process during the verification process. People prefer to eat from outside or either search for a pg around college

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
