- College has very good infrastructure and mantained neatly.
- Campus is ragging free all senior are good.Management take very strict action against ragging.
Dislikes
- College is located in small town . There is nothing outside campus to explore.
- Director is not fixed. There is no permanent director for the campus,temporary directors changes all the time.
Remarks :
I got admission here through JEE mains. My seat is allocated by JOSSA councelling. NIT Andhra Pradesh is youngest NIT. College has good infrastructure. But it has to improve in a lot more areas in terms NIRF rankings, placements,staff etc. This college is also located in a small town.Nearest City is Rajamahendravaram. College is improving everyone are trying their best.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is changed from acedemic year 2024-25 making crucial changes. It made necessary changes making course very good.Teachers are good but the regular teaching staff is less.Exams are conducted almost every month. Exams difficulty is above average for setting some good standards.
Placement Experience :
Around 75% of students get placed at NIT Andhra Pradesh. Average package is around 7-8 lakhs per annum . Highest package is around 44 lakhs per annum and Lowest sometimes go upto 5 lakhs per annum. Generally companies like TCS and infosys etc comes for placements. I also will try to get placed in campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is 62,000 per each semester,Yearly 1,24,000. If you avail any hostel facilities there will be extra hostel fee around 32,000 per sem(include mess fee).There is no tuition fees for SC,ST students. And those who belongs MEB category(family income < 1,00,000) the total tuition fee will be reimbursed, for OEB category (family income between 1 to 5 lakhs) 2/3 of tuition is reimbursed.
Campus Life :
There are many small events , clubs events go on entire year. But there are two main fest: Techriya,tech fest and Vulcanzy,cultaral fest conducted every year.Library is available for everyone it has wide range of books and journals.There are almost 15 clubs which you join bvased on your interest club activities go on. College has indoor and outdoor sportys facililties and a gym everyone can avail them.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel registration is done at the time of admission ,it is simple.Hostel has good facilities like wi-fi,hot water etc. Hostels are maintained neatly. Mess food taste is average. Mess menu has variety of food items,quality is average

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
