- Faculties are good and highly qualified.
- Good infrastructure, a playground and volleyball, basketball ground(court), and many indoor games.
Dislikes
- The area outside the college is insecure and unsafe.
- NOT air-conditioned classes and campus.
- No hostel, and hostel life. So, if a student outside Delhi comes here to enjoy hostel life then avoid.
- On the walls of blocks wifi enabled campus is written BUT no wifi.
Remarks :
Yes, I gave Jee mains 2023 and secured an 88%ile. After that, I fill the GGSIPU counseling and I get to be admitted to college in mid-September in 2nd last of the special rounds. The faculties are very polite and show good behavior at the time of the admission process and generally are also good. The whole fee of 1st year is paid at the time of the admission process when documents are submitted to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my JEE percentile. (so jo mila le liye). The course you take only depends on your JEE percentile if go through by JEE (jitni acchi rank utna acha college or utna accha course). Faculties are well qualified many of the faculty are PhD holders or are pursuing PhDs. So, the Qualities or Qualifications of the faculties a very good. Some faculties are just spending time in lectures not taking classes or are not serious. But many faculties are very hard working they always take lectures, provide study material, help students, and give advice for your future career. The odd end-semester exams are in Dec.-Jan. And even end-semester exams are in May or June. Exams are mid-levels or not so easy and not so hard but on the easier side. And most important the internal marks only depend on the subject faculty. ( your relationship with the faculty is proportional to your internal marks). And midterm exams also played an important role, so give midterm exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are totally based on your skills soft or technical. Many students get internship offers because of their skills and their academic/CGPA. Many seniors do internships in many good companies in the AI field.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good in our college many students get placed but a lot of competition because of the many branches, on an average packages from 5lpa to 8lpa. The mean package is 6-8 LPA whereas the highest is 48 lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees are paid once a year. There is no Provision for semester-wise payment. The fee for 1st year is 145000 rs(2023-2024) which decreases year by year like fees for 2nd year are 137900rs(2024-25) but for the academic year 2024-25, the fee for 1st yr is 153000 in INR. So for new enrollment for next year, fee can be increased. Scholarships are there such as merit cum scholarship in this scholarship the whole fee cost is back to your account, and many more scholarships for girls, st/sc/obc-ncl community, But for these scholarships the student should have a domicile of Delhi. And many scholarships are available on the buddy4Study website, which you can prefer.
Campus Life :
Our college's annual fest named utkarsh generally comes in march and our university's annual fest annugonj comes in february. The university's annual fest is so good. And our college fest is average or lower. Both the fests are three days long. Campus life is good u can walk around or play on the ground. Many cultural societies and technical societies are also present. Many events, seminars, and workshops are held. You can check many photos or events on the instagram handles of societies, and colleges. Such as the campus chronicles,etc. You can search many societies on your own, only type adgips behind every society, and only search adgips on instagram. But I advise you, that if you come here for enjoyment, living college life hostel life, so please "This college is not for you at that level". The area outside the campus is very inoperative and unsafe. You can also search about this area named shastri park, sellampur. So, please think about this and take a good and healthier decision.
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel in our college (SO, NO HOSTEL LIFE). That area near the college or outside the college is not safe and good, so do not take PGs and room there. I am also an outsider and I live in a Flat 30 minutes away from college in Laxmi Nagar. Laxmi Nagar is a good area many students live here. If you rented a flat 2bhk in Laxmi Nagar then its cost will be 8000-12000, food and other expenditures are separate from this. NOTE: I ENTERED THE HOSTEL FEE AMOUNT DUE TO A PROBLEM IN THE SUBMISSION PROCEDURE OF THE COLLEGE REVIEW. THIS IS IMAGINARY AMOUNT.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
