- Infrastructure: IIT indore, being an newer iit, has one of the best infrastructures.
- Campus life: the campus looks like heaven at night. The fests, sports activities and other culturals, all make the campus life fun as hell.
Dislikes
- Curriculum: the course curriculam is a bit on a harder side and you need to put some effort to get good cgpa.
- The mess food is sometimes very good and sometimes very bad. But mostly its eatable.
Remarks :
Being an IIT, this college is a dream college for tons of jee aspirants in India. from the campus life, sports activities, and fests to great career opportunities, this is one of the best engineering colleges in India. The admission process is pretty straightforward. There is a 75% in the 12th board criteria and jee advance cutoff rank. For electrical engineering, the closing rank was around air 3800 for the general category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The electrical engineering course at IIT Indore is a hybrid of both electrical and electronics. It has a wide curriculum covering basic machines, transformers, power, and control systems in core and VLSI, nanotechnology, etc in electronics. All the faculty members are Ph.D. and of great academic backgrounds. Talking about the fee structure, the tuition fee is 1 lac per sem for gen/obc. Students. For SC/ST it is free. There are some category-wise scholarships and some based on annual income.
Internships Opportunities :
I am doing a research internship with an associate professor in the PCB design domain. We have to implement some functional circuits on the hardware. Like buck-boost converter, current mirror, op-amp, etc. There is an internship drive in the 5th sem in which you can apply to the company and job role of your interest.
Placement Experience :
Being an IIT, the placements of the institution are excellent. Above 90% of the students are placed and the average package is around 24 LPA. There are a lot of internship opportunities in MNCs like Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and Intel for electrical folks. There is also the option of sitting in the gate or IES if looking for a career in the government field.
Campus Life :
IIT Indore organizes FLUXUS, its annual techno-cultural fest in the first or second week of March. It is the biggest college fest in central India. The sports facilities are also excellent. There is an indoor badminton court, a swimming pool, one cricket and two football grounds. One synthetic athletics court is also in construction.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
