Remarks :

This college is best for the Diploma (Polytechnic) students to complete their Bachelor's due to lower fees and very good opportunities (it offers). Regular students are admitted through the JEE Exam while Polytechnic Students (like me) are admitted on the basis of the CET exam (held every year by GGSIP University). The average cutoff for the CSE Branch ranges from 12,000 to 22,000 rank in the JEE Exam and the maximum cutoff goes up to 1.2 Lakh Rank in the JEE Exam. For Diploma students, the cutoff goes up to 250 rank in the CET Exam (for general category).

Course Curriculum Overview :

In today's evolving world, AI plays a significant role. All Future Jobs are focused on AI, so I pursued my Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Also, most of the Professors here have either a PhD or pursuing a PhD. This shows that the Faculty members are highly qualified. The syllabus and subjects are very focused on the future. The difficulty of semester exams is quite moderate, meaning neither easy nor difficult but examines the knowledge for the skills needed in the future.

Internships Opportunities :

Funding an Internship is hard even if you are from IIT Delhi. But our college organizes Internship Fairs 3-4 times a year bringing 20-30 companies at the same time that provides internship opportunities to students. Most of the internships are either unpaid or pay up to 15000 a month as a stipend. But, some students also crack Internships at companies like JP Morgan for Lakhs per month as a stipend.

Placement Experience :

Around 200-250 companies visit our college every year bringing exciting opportunities. The Average CTC offered to students of our college is Rs 8 Lakhs a year, which is even higher than some IITs or NITs. The highest on-campus offer was made by DE Shaw for 52 LPA this year. Also, some Japanese companies are coming to our college offering direct Jobs in Japan after Bachelors. 12 Seniors of mine got an offer to work in Japan at a whopping 3 Million JPY per year. More than 70% of the students are getting on-campus Job offers by the companies, which is nearly equivalent to IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay. I plan to do a job in Japan and I'm learning the Japanese Language to do that. Many students from our college also prepare for Off-Campus Job Interviews to get a better Package. Overall, our college is competing with top colleges in India in terms of placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee for my Course is Rs 1,53,900. Some Chunk is University Fees (Rs 20,000) and the rest are Tuition Fees and Other Charges. There are no exam fees. There is no difference between the fees for General and SC/ST Classes in my college. Also, some scholarships are there for Category Students who score good grades. Also, Education loans have been made possible in collaboration with the Bank of Baroda.

Campus Life :

Our campus might seem small compared to IITs or NITs but has everything a student needs to grow. We have over 20 societies (student clubs) related to different newest tech like Robotics, Automobile Designing, Drone Club, etc. Also, we have many cultural societies related to Drama, Dance, and Singing, and a new society emerged this year that focuses on content creation. Most of the societies are run by students under the guidance of various College Professors related to the work of the societies. Also, the famous rapper Raftaar came to our college last year in our fest TnM'24 which was held in April 2024. Our Library has many books related to the syllabus and tech journals are also there. Classrooms are well equipped with ACs and the Labs have the Latest PCs with Windows 11. Sports Day happens once a year at GGSIP University which gives every student to showcase their athletic skills.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I have not opted for the Hostel Facility, as I live in Delhi (around 10 km from my college). But after getting the reviews of some of my friends, I can conclude that our Hostel is Above average compared to other PGs, Mess, or Hostels. But, it costs a lot. Around 1.8 Lakhs to 2.2 Lakhs per year is the fee for the Hostel. The food quality is not bad though. The registration process for the hostel is easy and you can apply for it in the Accounts Department of the college. There are many PGs near the college. But the food quality of those PGs is not very good. Some of my friends also prefer to rent an apartment which is also an affordable option ranging from 6000 to 12000 per month (excluding electricity, food, and other charges).

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
