Actually I was interested in cooking and was not sure what to do after my 12th grade so I attended a counselling from a educationalist about the opportunities for science students and get to know about NCHM exam through which you will be enrolled in this college As this institute has rank 1 you will be in need of higher ranks to get into this institute
I personally love cooking and wanted to make that as my profession so that's the reason why I chose this course and college The quality of faculty and their teaching methods are too good There is a mid term exam and the end semester exam The semester exam has both theory and practical exams
Internship is a part of your course You will be doing your internship in the second year ( in 3 or 4 th semester) The whole batch will be grouped into two groups and one of the group leaves for internship and the other stays in college for the semester Either you can do it in Delhi or in your hometown And the institute takes care of you training
It's special for its placement Almost every one will be placed from this institute So if you have passed with good score you will be placed in a good property with good package and there if you work is good they will be promoting you according to that so initially you will designated as a trainee or as a basic emloyee in any of the four core departments
The fees for the academics is approximately 80K for and semester and 1 Lakh for hostel (sharing room without ac) and 1 & Half lakh (single room with ac) Fees are same for all the students And you need to spend more money after joining the institute Like getting different uniforms for different classes and getting chef kit and other accessories and all
As it is a government institute it celebrates national festivals in a grand way and they do have sport day, farewell, freshers, annual day and educational trips And it has cultural clubs for dance, drama, singing, art works and some more related to our course
I personally don't like the hostel rules and hostel food as I am a south indian And they serve only North Indian food and I am struggling with that but hostel will be safe and one of our faculty is our warden for both girls and boys hostel

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
