My review for my own college
Likes
- I liked the basketball court and library they have, it has good space so it's not crowded.
- I liked that they have good laboratores for every core subjects that helps us do experiments to understand the topics better and get practical knowledge
Dislikes
- I didn't like how they give the mbbs students better treatment than allied health science students
- I didn't liked the idea of conducting classes in small seminar rooms even it's just 20 students. There are many batches so it's hard to accommodate.
Remarks :
I didn't choose this college my father was the one who offered the brochure to me and I spontaneously choose my course. We didn't have any entrance exam we just needed our 12th class result and a good marks in biology and the application timings also is important because there is limited seats.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This is a very recent course, genetics is a very new branch of science and our batch had a renewed curriculum. Our college has been offering this course for only from past 4 years so, ours is the forth batch of genetics. And that is the reason why I choose this course it's new, it's interesting, not many colleges offer this course and I might have a chance to go abroad
Placement Experience :
Our course doesn't have internships because we have projects in the final year and based on the review I heard from our seniors from different courses, they should do 365 days of internship program and they are not allowed to take holidays without permission or else they gonna have to do two extra days.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We don't have quota seats or fees reduction because JSS academies doesn't follow them. Everyone is paying the same fees where they are SC ST or OBC or General. In the first year we paid a little bit more but we are paying 5-8 thousand less compared to the first year.
Campus Life :
We had classes in the campus in the first year only and the rest we have in hospital laboratory. We allied health science students have Amogothsav and MBBS students have Tatmav and like so different courses have different fests but one of the biggest fest is of MBBS frst because they will be have sponsors

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
A review by a normal college student
Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
