- You can choose not to attend lectures and there won't be any issue, you can work on a startup instead.
- Senior-Junior relationship, there is no ragging and seniors are very helpful when you approach them.
Dislikes
- The gender ratio is about 1:8 which is sad.
- The weather is extreme with temperatures dropping below zero in winters and touching 50 in summers.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always been interested in Electronics and this was a golden opportunity to excel in this field. The faculty is incomparable, they are very friendly and approachable. They are qualified with PhDs in their fields. The evaluation is divided into 3 components mainly, 1. Continuous(4-6 tests in 4.5 months) 2. Midsem(at the start of 3rd month) 3. Endsem(at the end of sem) The midsem and endsem are a bit difficult but it's doable if you study. Also relative grading helps because of its difficult for you, it's the same for everyone else.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship but there are internship opportunities after 2nd year which is called Practice School(PS) Where you can go work for a company as an intern during your summer break.
Placement Experience :
For placements, usually a CGPA above 7 is good enough. For degree eligibility, CGPA>4.5 is required. Recruiters like Amazon, Apple, Cisco, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, TCS, Paypal, etc. come to BITS every year. The highest placement was around ?1.2crore p.a. and the average is ?20.8Lakhs p.a. with a placement rate of 88% Many students go for higher studies after their bachelor's degree which is what I'm going to do.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First semester scholarship depends on BITSAT exam, top2% recieve a 100% scholarship on tuition fee, next 1% get 50% scholarship on tuition fee. There is also a merit-cum-need scholarship which is applicable for top10% students. After that, it depends on your GPA. Campus Life :
Campus Life is crazy, there are no curfew timings for hostels. You can roam around the campus at 4am. Books are usually available in the library and they are good quality books. There is a big multi sport facility ground with football, basketball, lawm tennis, skating, hockey, volleyball, open gym and a cricket ground. Indoor facilities include table tennis, squash, billiards, badminton and a gym. There are n number of clubs which have recruitment rounds start as soon as you join campus. For example, wallstreet club where you can trade and earn yourself, Department of Visual Media(DVM club) where you design websites and videos for others or any event, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel mess is good, there student body that decides the menu every week so the food is good. No need to apply for hostels, you'll get it once you get admission. There are vending machines in every hostel so you can buy midnight snacks at your convenience.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
