My review on RGUKT
Likes
- I like the infrastructure , organization. Of the institute.
- I like the faculty teaches us and their friendly interaction.
Dislikes
- Mess or canteen prices are too high and one cannot affordable.
- The bathrooms in hostels are very bad and very difficult to bath or excrete.
Remarks :
As I mentioned the RGUKT aims to provide a free education for rural students. The criteria for selection to this institute is based on the scores achieved in 10th board examinations. My family financial situations and my teachers has guided me to chose a better education and to RGUKT.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course to become a good civil enginner and construct wonders on this planet. When it comes to the faculty , the faculty is perfect and well disciplined. The criteria for choosing the faculty is based on numerous voices like degree, phds and experience in teaching . They will also attempt the examinations before joining into the RGUKT. Every month the mid examinations will be held. Every six months a Sem examinations will be held . The difficult of paper is mostly based on the real time applications.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for internships because I m still studying B-tech 1st year. I will get a internship in our institute in future. The internship offer will be available from Engineering 3rd sem 2 . Many students has got jobs through their internships itself.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for selecting for the placement is that they have to maintain minimum 75% of result in all semesters. The highest package recieved till to date is about 42 LPA . There are many MNCS like WIPRO, AMAZON and TATA will the students of RGUKT.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our RGUKT institute a monthly fee about 50,000 rupees per annum. There is also mess fee about 45,000 rupees per annum. Actually RGUKT is established by YS rajashekhar Reddy. It is to provide a university education to the rural students. There is a scholarship provided by the govt of Andhra pradesh which provides about 42,000 rupees in three installments
Campus Life :
Life in RGUKT is very interesting and enjoyable. There are many events that will be held in our college. TECKZITE is a biggest south indian national event that will be held in our institute . Many people will come to this event and expand their knowledge . There are so many student body organizations like SDCAC, SM, Helping hands etc. RGUKT supports many sports and yoga . Actually our institute has recieved many achievements in extracurricular activities .
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I opted for hostel. Regarding to the hostel actually I have very poor experience with it because, Bathrooms are not very good . But I can guarantee that the water is 24/7 available. The greenery near the hostel will be very pleasent doe the stressed students and make them to feel little relieved.

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.

Job opportunities are countless for the students who are skilled. Both software and core jobs placements can be observerved in a wide range. Many multi national companies like deloitte, infosys, snovasys, TCS, Accenture are tied up with the campus for conducting drives.
