I liked Nursing and I wanted to pursue this in a good college. This is a central government institute and this made me choose this college. Selection criteria is mainly based on written examination.
This course was something what I liked to do. There are about 35 teachers who are really passionate. Most of the teachers have their Phd. They have a lot of experience in this field. Exams are held every 3 months and we have annual exam too
We get to work here for a maximum of a year. Stipend received is around 16000rps. We get posted in different areas of the hospital like psychiatry, neurology, neurosurgery, medical, surgical, casualty, isu etc
Internship is there here only. It can be done for a maximum of a year. Stipend received is around 16000rps. My plan is to complete my internship and go abroad for work. We get paid 50000rps as starting salary.
For OBC and general category Tution fees comes out to be about 35000 and for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates it is about 20000. Hostel fees are about 5000rps. Mess fees is 4000rps per month.
Campus life is nice. There is a lot of greenery. The campus is beautiful. There arelots of extracurricular activities. There is a gym which is well equipped and also a library. NSS is also there. Lots of books are available in library.
I have opted for hostel. Hostel is available for all the students. We had to pay 5000rps every year for hostel. For mess we have to pay 4000rps. Food is very nice. Every day there is a change in menu.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
