• Hospitals: NIMHANS provides mental health facilities with 950 beds and specific departments. It has specialty departments that provide quality treatment in domains like; mental health and neuroscience.

• The college offers hostel facilities with single, double and family sized rooms, the rooms are well spacious and clean. They offer good quality food with a great variety and taste in the canteen.

How is the faculty at NIMHANS?

• The teachers at NIMHANS are well experienced as the majority of them are PhD holders. The teachers encourage the students to research and in-depth learning, they are very supportive and are experts in their domain. 

How is the quality of the PG course at NIMHANS?

• The PG courses are provided with great quality, the students are given basics to advance knowledge in the subject. The learning process includes lectures and practical experiments. Other than this, to assess the knowledge of the students they are required to go through a monthly assessment.

What is the process for the PhD program at NIMHANS?

There are several ways one can be admitted into the PhD program at NIMHANS:

• The easiest way is for the students can have their JRF/SRF funding from the government or the institute, the students who attain the top ranks in the UGC NET/CSIR NET/ICME. 
• The second method is through the institutional fellowship, the ones with UGC/CSIR/ICME can directly go for the interview process or else the candidates need to sit for the institutional entrance test. 
• Another way could be to further pursue a PhD research program once the student completes their M.phill. The students pursue the same field of expertise for their PhD.
